My bf and I are oceans apart. He told me when we're still together that we will be communicating via internet, etc. We still have strong communication like text, skype but I saw him on line couple times even just now but he didn't even send me a wink or said "hello". I didn't bother him because he was probably doing work stuffs but at least even a simple HI might not bother him so much. Do you guys do this to your wife/gf when your'e apart? Or would you do that same thing? thanks...

1. it is possible that he feels like he is talking to you to much yet not feeling the same as when you are together and he questions the relationship because he lacks the insight to understand why these feeling are missing... most guys don't consider the distance as a reason that it takes more to hold on to feeling but would rather say that the relationship itself isn't working which may not be the case, but because of their desperateness to create a solution make the wrong decision... it is a given words are better in person... it is a fact, and over time words lose meaning with out action or physical presents... i would not worry because you will end up sending messages like "why aren't you talking to me???" and then he will feel like the relationship is failing... so give him space, but every once and a while stop by with a message and say hey, nothing more -to see if he has anything to say...
i would encourage you to hold strong and be firm, don't question anything... or else tension will build (if it hasn't already) and you will put pressure on him in ways he is not used to...
2. it could also be that your not speaking his love language... while you Seek words of admiration, he might need acts of service, or physical touch - like a hung or hang shake, to a guy this means more than a card... you know? but it is hard to do from a far so get creative...
Depending on your intimacy or dept of relationship it is hard to say what he would be feeling... so the first response probably isn't the right one...
either way, don't pressure him... be there for him when he calls, but don't give him expectation to perform because HE WILL FAIL THEM!!! everyone does, and when he does this blows up more than it should...
i myself know women usually need word of affirmation so i would probably go out of my way to send a card or message... but that take understanding and lots of communication... and experience develops that, no amount of foreknowledge will compensate for this...
good luck, i would pray also, but that is my prefrence to seek higher knowledge and insight...
-Todd best of luck...

He probably knows that if he was to wink or say hello that the conversation wouldn't stop there. Who knows maybe he has other communications with other people other than friends. Like games and stuff. I would probably do the same thing. Especially if I was busy doing something else. I would find out his real intentions towards you. If you want conversation??? Talk on the phone or better yet----in person. That way you'll really be able to tell what's really going on.

I never purposely ignore my gf, Sometimes I'm researching something, or talking to a friend that I have not spoken to in years. But I would never ignore my gf on purpose. Because whats the point of devoting your love, time, and life to someone if your just going to ignore them. Maybe your bf was busy, and didn't see that you were online. Next time you should talk to him, maybe he was wandering the same thing about you. If a guy loves you it's no bother when you talk to him no matter what he is doing. If he's busy, he can politely tell you that he is really busy, and tell you he loves you, and ask you if he can talk to you a little later.

It's a two way street, honey. He could be asking the same thing. You shouldn't be afraid to bother your bf. If he's busy he'll tell you.
