I did it once. It was GREAT. BUT there is a dark side. You will never have the same thing after and there is a 80% chance you won't be even talking to each other if you do break up. I need more info for specifics, but if you have dated a LOT before, and you KNOW how to handle relationships, testing, attraction, being fun and cool, then this may be the most satisfying thing in your life.
If you are missing more than two of the things I wrote above, then BE PATIENT until you get it handled. This girl seems like she's not going to go away for a while so you have time.

Within 5 years...you 2 prob. know eachother really well! Which works great in a relationship!! You know what eachother likes and dislikes and what not. But you have to ask yourself 1 big ???? Are you willing to sacrafice your friendship to pursue a relationship.....with the risk that if it doesn't work out, thats it??? Its really hard! I've tried it already! Just do what your heart tells you to do! (or atleast try to listen to it!)

If you are sure you really like them in that way...it's a great idea!
Could turn into love easily....and if it ends bad then thats ok too
because one day when you get married ---it might be a little ocward to have a best guy friend anyways(because usually your spouse is your best friend)!!!

As long as you want to go to the next level with your bestfriend..
then why not?
Just make sure dating your best bud is what you wanna do.. no use ruining a perfectly good friendship when you just want to experiment.. =)

if you have a chance, then, that's the best thing you can do! picture this, huh! what would you prefer, to live with a person that you barely know or to live with one that you really know? love is best when it has bloomed from friendship. by now you have come to know this person's likes, personalities, interests, weaknesses, short-comings etc and you still care about her/him. this is to your advantage.....it's about sharing your life with someone, read me? if the thought of him/her can stillmake you smile after five years, then you are at it!...........best of luck!!

as long as your willing to maybe ruin your friendship if you two break up. But if you think that you two will be together forever, or pretty close, then go for it. personally, it would be a little weird for me
