Loved it completely.... each one of us has to find his/her meaning in this life, by living each moment of it.... my way may not be yours, our roads may connect.... can be the same for a while, or for the end of our existence... choices...everything that you make...
everyone of us makes his own road.. there is no path to follow.

funny you should ask this. i think i recently met someone who seems to live this way, which made me think that yes, some people do live life better with no definite meaning. they don't search for answers, they don't ask questions, or need to know what life is all about. THey just live it. Others, like myself, or maybe you, have to ask questions or have some sort of goal or reason for living. I like to figure out life as it happens and also know that I have a purpose for being here. I guess for both types, we are making our meaning ourselves. Whether or not we know what our meaning is. A lot of times, you won't realize what your meaning or purpose is until you've lived your life, and then you look back and you see what its all about. My father did 20 years in the Army and never thought about what he did as far as meaning. He just did it. It wasn't until he looked back that he realized what it all meant, and how many lives he had saved/affected, and how good it feels to have served your country. So sometimes, we are just doing what we do, and not thinking about it because we don't have the wisdom to see it at the time. It doesn't mean your life is meaningless. Its like a the Family Circus comic someone read to me the other day. A child asked his fater "Does a caterpillar know he is going to be a caterpillar? Or does God tell him?"

If I understand the quote, it is saying that we would live better lives if we found out our own meanings and didn't have someone else tell us what the meaning of our lives is supposed to be.
I think that can be true.

I think that it is trying to say that since life does have a meaning, which is to be born, live, and die...and whatever is in between, BUT without meaning probably we didnt have to die.
another thing i believe is if it had no meaning, no one would have to worry about what is write or wrong, gay of straight, abortion or not, republican or democratic, good or evil....geting the point without meaning no one would care about anything and would go anywhere withouth stoping. Life has a meaning because we need it, and yes in deed we all do it....for example, everyone is familiar with the STOP sign right....ok its there and everyone stops when they see it, but cant you just go and act like if its not even there....thats what i mean...LIFE HAS A MEANING TO GIVE RULES AND TO FOLLOW NORMS AND OTHER STUFF LIKE CULTURE AND STUFF LIKE THAT......
but if life had no meaning it would be easier because there would be nothing to follow, no rules, but guess what we need rules even to go to the restroom, dont you? I dont want to go into detail with that one, just remember you need to use your toilet paper...

The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value.
- Thomas Paine
quoted from _Power Quotes_ by Daniel B. Baker
> No. If life has no meaning, or you create one for it,
> why would you care about it?
> Meaningless things have no value.

If you make your own meaning then you are adding it to life. Therefore you're back to a life with meaning.

Life is like a coin in your pocket - You can spend anyway that you'd like - But you can only spend it once

thats nice, its like when youth is wasted on the young, and all women like something tender about their men, especially,..... their age. But hay, we are all not Whitney Houston.
