Let's say an un-married woman uses a vibrator. In the eyes of Christianity, is she committing the sin of fornication? Or maybe a different sin?

What about a married woman using a vibrator? Is she committing adultery?

Just curious.

Hmmmm.... let's say there really is a god who gave me this booty body and pleasure centers and erogenous zones. Doncha kinda think SHE would want me to experience that wonderful gift in every way?

... and *IF* there really is a god, I would want to make HER happy and get out my gift and play with it as often as time allows!

How else can I show her how much I appreciate it?

Well i really doesn't think it's fornication or adultery!! a vibrator is a thing not a person, u can only make it a sin if u bring a person into it. how ever there's much bigger sins we can do and are doing!! so if u are anyone else thinks it's a sin just ask god forgiveness and I'm almost sure he will. he has bigger and better things to worry about kiddo

The only passage in the entire Bible concerned with masturbation regads a man who sinned by refusing an obligation to have relations with one particular woman.

Other wise, unless the act of masturbating is cheating one's spouse of what is thier due consideration, NO! Masturbations is not a sin. Use your vibrator and be happy.

I think the sin of "lustful thoughts". Like the Jimmy Carter "looking at a woman with lust in his eyes" thing.

Bananas too

"Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." ~ Philippians 2:12

"I was a stranger, and ye took me in." ~ Matthew 25:35

That's all I could find, and both seem to be pro-vibrator, not anti-. And, of course, there's always "Come All Ye Faithful!" It's not biblical, but... Oh, well. Nuff said. ;-)

The Bible does not say anything about vibrators so it's certainly OK.

I sure hope not! Actually, I REALLY don't know what the official Biblical stance on masturbation is. All I know is that I don't feel any kind of conviction about anything in the sexual aspect of my marriage.

Interesting. I might add, what if sex toys are used by married couples together? What about then?
