Haven't gone broke yet but sure have wasted a lot of money. Now I've learned to either wait a bit or just go without.

Yes. Fifteen years ago I was trying to capture video to my computer with an analog video capture board. Whatever money was left over from the multiple $2,000 investments into video capture boards was spend on psychiatric fees, after seeing my computer crash for the nth time trying to compile a 5 minute video.

Now that I can capture video digitally from my 3-chip video camera, I am in 7th Heaven. I don't think I need to improve much on the video quality I'm able to burn onto a DVD now. Finally, ahhhhh.

Now, about all that money I invested in my 8-track car stereo . . .

i got 7 phones in the last 3 years and out of them 4 were PDAs. I have wasted a lot of money on this stuff. I suggest just dont be tempted into buying it just because it looks snazzy, it will be obsolete after a month.

not broke but have spend many thousands since the first xt's and early apple. bought the first hp laser for $5000 and a major improvement came in six months. paid $5000 for the new at with a hayes modem. built two from barebones stuff. etc. etc. why? it was crazy. if i had put that money in blue chip stock if could have another wife, maybe. or maybe the one i had would have stayed. i dunno.

I'm behind in technology. I'm lucky to have an mp3 player & a cell phone that has video & camera phone & a wireless internet laptop.

Not me too much, but I know some people that are too greedy about electronics and the latest anything. I hate showoffs!
