i think I have asthma. it didnt come suddenly ive been feeling this for a while. my dad has it too but i dunno how to tell him bcuz i dont really confide in him and if i tell him i no he wont believe me. Im starting to feel out of breath every day now. i tell him i have a hard time breathing sometimes but he doesn't say anything after i tell him that. plz help.

If you really do think you have asthma it's important that you get your Dad to listen to you! You should pick a good time, when he isn't to distracted with other things. Tell him that you want to talk to him about something that you have been worried about, then tell him exactly what has been going on with your breathing & ask him if you can see a Dr. & get checked for asthma? Sometimes Dads & Moms don't really listen to what their kids are saying, they still see them as little kids who don't know what their even talking about most of the time. It's hard to relize that your babies are really growing up. Try to talk with him, maybe he will suprise you & it wont be as hard as you think! Give it a try anyway! Good Luck!!!

If something is really wrong then you need to tell him! He would have to beleive you if it deals with your health. Tell him exactly what you just said... that everyday you're starting to feel out of breath.

if your in school go to the nurse and tell her then have her call or send a note home telling your dad about it if your not in school go to the doctor and get an inhaler and don't tell him at all
