Do you really want an answer? First, I will tell you that religion is the most influential factor in wars, hate and destruction. Religion is man's way of controlling other people. Religion is man's way of trying to please their gods.
Jesus is God's way of reaching down to man with love and His grace. Jesus is God in the flesh. Jesus was sent to the earth to die for your sins and mine.
We are all born with a sinful nature. That is to say that not one of us has not done something wrong. We were born that way. Jesus was born and remained sinless. That is why His death to take our place is possible. Jesus became our sins when He was on the cross.
God has offered to bring us back into a relationship with Him and forgiveness for those sins because of His only begotten Son, Jesus. When we accept Jesus and repent of our sins, which means to turn away from them, God declares us justified (just as if I'd never sinned).
Do you really have faith and believe that you came from nothing? Is it logic to believe that this universe and even yourself, with your brain and thoughts could be derived from absolutely nothing? No, God was here first and always was here. He is my Creator and yours. There is no greater love than that He laid down His life for you. That is logic.

Even though I don't particularly care for the manner in which you phrased your question, at least you are asking for an answer. That is more than most non believers do. I will attempt to give you some basic stuff here if I may.
1. Yes I believe God really exists.
2. Some scientists are now doubting the reliability of the carbon dating method of measuring how long ago dinosaurs and other fossils lived. (If you wish, I can give you names of some of those noted scientists and you can check their credentials. Also, although I don't want to use the Bible itself to give you answers, you might check out the book of Genesis and you will see a description of dinosaurs living alongside mankind during that time.
3. The Holy Spirit does not control Christians. The spirit lives within us and is at our disposal to give direction Should We Ask For It.
4. Yes, our sins can be forgiven no matter what if we are truly sorry for what we have done and have repented (agreed to really make an effort not to do it again)
5. Yes, I believe God/Jesus loves us all. I have no reason not to believe that because each of us (even you) are one of his absolutely unique creations.
6. Yes, our faith (not religion) is real. The fact that man sins over and over again is the reason God sent Jesus.
7. Most religions contradict one another in theory, but not in concept. Man makes religions...God makes relationships.
8. Regarding being agnostic...That is your right if you so choose. However, let me ask you this question.....
If you walked into your home one day and you saw a model of the universe sitting on your table and you asked your house mate where it came from and they said to you. "It just appeared...all by itself" would you believe it?
That is what science tells us. They say they do not know why the universe suddenly appeared, but it did. I for one am a very logical individual and I don't believe that something can simply appear out of absolute nothingness and without any building materials....without some help from someone. I call that someone...GOD.

1. I don't believe in "some higher being", I believe in God.
2. Did not God make dinosaurs too? Men sure didn't.
3. I let the "Holy Spirit" control my life, yes.
4. Should I get pardoned for it? No. Do I get pardoned? Yes.
5. Yes, He loves us all. But He certainly doesn't like what we do.
6. YOU might be scared. But we are not. We know He loves
us.
7. I don't have a "religion", I have a relationship. With a person.
His name is Jesus Christ. Religions are empty, man-made
things. Christ is real.
8. So what does it matter when Christianity came into
existance? Horses came before cars, but you still drive a car,
right?
9. "Religions" might contradict each other. But nothing that Jesus
says is contradictory.
10. The Qu'ran- written by man. The Bible- God breathed.
If you choose to believe in logic, then you would think logically, and reason logically. But apparently you haven't done your homework, neither gone over ALL the facts. So you are acting "illogically", Mr. Spock. To be logical, one must obtain all the facts, weigh them out, and then come to a reasonable conclusion. You skipped right to a conclusion, and one that is wrong, I might add.
And no, Agnosticism isn't the way to go. So I don't agree.

I know that I know that I know....
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
The Bible is God-breathed....I dont accept anything that can't be supported biblically.
I know that I know that I know God exists....
because I tried my way and it sucked. I came to the end of myself by trying everything I could think of from prescriptions, psychiatrists and gurus to psychics and seminars, self-help books, herbs and things I wont mention here. Still not happy...still restless....still messed up. So I decided to give this God thing a scientific test--a six week trial run....the same sort of approach I had taken to every other solution that I sought.
Only the word of God is living. There is power in the word. When I stopped making demands of some unknown demi-God, and with an open mind and sincere heart decided I would just ask....ask God to show me in a way that would be meaningful to me if He existed, if He loved me and what to do..... things began to happen.... the hardest part was that out of no where people began making suggests.....I would ask these Christian people how they know and they would say read the Book of John, or go to this class or that church.....and since I had decided to give it a fair go for 6 weeks I was beginning to feel trapped off... lol... but I did it anyway because that was the logical thing to do...I wasn't going to be able to say it didn't work if I didn't actually DO what was required....The thing is, in all the stories about Jesus...he met people on the road. He will meet you right where you are, if you want Him to. All you need to do is ask.

I am not going to tell you that you need Jesus or that you are going to hell. I am not the judge of you. I do want to tell you why I believe in Jesus Christ though. I can't prove to you why I believe in him or base it on facts, but I can try.
The biggest reason I believe in Christianity is there has been no scientific evidence disproving it. Never has anybody disproven that Jesus existed, that he rose from his tomb, or anything else in the Bible. In fact, there is more evidence proving it.
How can I believe though is different. I choose to believe in a God I can't see. It is all about faith. Think about this. Buddha is dead and has a grave and Mohammed is dead and has a grave, but where is Jesus? Nobody has found his tomb. By faith we believe.
Just because those religions have been arond longer means nothing. The Bible had an earlier covenant before Jesus Christ even came to the earth. Read the old testament of the Bible and you will see that.
In conclusion, I really can not prove it, but neither can you disprove it. The whole Christian religion is based on faith and the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Plain and simple. It is a matter of whether you choose to believe or not. Jesus gives you the choice. As I have heard it put, He is the perfect gentleman. Your decision. What will you choose?

If By He you mean God yes I do absolutely believe in God I have no doubt that he exists I know fully that God is there because I am here not only because he created me but also because he sustained my life many times and he is stil sustaining my life every day, you say that noone can prove that God exists, but I say to you that the proof is all around you, should you look at it honestly, ok you cannot see the Air can you, yet Logic tells you that it is there so you breathe it, God provided it even for you who thinks he is not Logical.do you eat your 3 meals a day?God provided those, by, making the food grow, for your, nourishment, you can see the food yet you cannot see God who causes it to be there every day for you, even though you refuse to give him the credit for it and you feel that is Logical but is it really? You can see the Water, and you drink it every day God has provided that for you also. you can see the sunsets and many other such sights and Landscapes also that he provided for your and every other person's enjoyment, In fact God has provided you the ability to enjoy your life to the full, not only in one way but in many many ways, he did not hold back from you any part of your ability to enjoy life even though you hold back on giving him his due credit for the things he has done for you.But yes I do believe , not only believe but know God does exist, even though the dinasaurs were in existance, I don't get how that would show that he did not exist! Why do religions contradict each other?Well, there is a reason for that, and it is because most of them follow the False god, and therefore have False beliefs and like you think they are believing Logic, No I do not believe that agnosticism is the way to go, because it robs you of the truth and you fall into the trap of the False god who cares only for his wicked plan of misleading people away from what is good for them and truth, that is why God's word the Bible calls him a manslayer(John8:44)is where it says that, because that is in fact what he really is. he in effect brought not only sin into the world of mankind but death also. Are you really sure , that I am the one with the false hope and faith, and that it is not you, that have, this, false hope and faith, that you are right in your so called Logic?Let me put it this way to you, If you are right and I am wrong, then I lost nothing and I will be ok for I know I'm imperfect, for as you say I have nothing so I have nothing to loose, But if I am right and you are wrong then you are in a spot of bother because you believe you have it right only to find that you have it totally wrong, what a way to go! What a letdown that would be for you! Seriously think about it, it is a heap more than just swiss cheese!Nomatter how young a teen you are.

I do believe in God, because of many personal reasons, some of which have been too much to be mere coincidence. I believe that God created us just like he created dinosaurs, and we were made by him through a process of evolution. I believe that sins will be punished and no one can take the rap for you. Most religions have the same basic teachings, which is to esentially be good, the contradicitons come in when man tries to intervene. We are told not to believe in any other God because it was the same God that sent down all those messages, until he sent his final messenger with the "last testament"

If a religion teaches: one to respect others; to be kind and helpful; to have love one for another; does it matter if the religion teaches forgiveness of sins or reincarnation.
A belief is good only if it inspires people to be better. If a religion is preaching intolerance of others, then they are nothing more then a "hate group."
Logic and knowledge is great. Without proper action, then it is nothing. We, generally speaking, need to be more active in life. There are too many people spending time griping about whatever and not enough people trying to improve the world.

I know that those who do believe do it by faith. There is no logical reason but that does not diminish their belief.
If someone gets any degree of comfort out any sort of a fairy tale, how is it hurting you?
I am an Atheist, not an agnostic or any other half baked position. But I would embrace this God in a second if I could find ANY evidence that S/He existed. I would love to know someone is driving this runaway train we call life.
I was: Born Christian, Raised Christian, Ordained Christian and will probably die an Atheist. I left the faith when it stopped making sense to me.
Bottom line, if someone pisses in your Wheaties, don't eat them...

There is nothing wrong to believe in something if it gives you positive consequences...like believe in God, gives people hope...God is also whom people place all their burdens on...so for certain people its advantageous to be religious...for others it seems as good as useless...so it doesnt matter whether God really exist at the end of the day...That is why they call it FAITH...
