If you are refering to german camouflage then you are right, it really is a great pattern.

depend why you are wearing it.
Honestly bears don't really care, nor deer. Neither one takes notice of objects as far away as a rifal hunter will usually be. Wear a pink frock and MC Hammer pants. It makes as much difference. Bow hunter, yes; but they mostly notice smell, sound, and motion.
If you are wearing it because you think it helps your hunt, that's fine. If you're wearing it because you harbor some weird third reich admiration, it's something that needs worked on. A good way to tell is by seeing if you have an insatiable need to tell everyone you see you're wearing ss camo when you do it. Not necessary. bad sign.
Generally, the thing you like about ss camo is the small camo spots as opposed to the large ones on nato camo. It helps break up lines that help us recognize a human form. (US old desert camo from the first gulf war used the exact same principles,) You'll find modern US marine camo has taken the concept well further, using pixelated pattern. It is more effective, with less controversy.

No, if you walk down the street wearing Nazi camo how many people do you think would know that you were wearing Nazi camo. Maybe 1 possibly 3%. I've seen a high school girl wearing a Communist China hat no one that I saw even noticed. Same thing.

I was never impressed with the WW2 camo patterns. None of them are anywhere near as good as what we have today. And I have used camo patterns from all over the world.
As for German camo? I have several pieces of modern German "FLECTARN" pattern camo and it works very well.
And as for your buddies opinion? A successful hunter will laugh at his buddies as he is loading up that trophy buck, especially when they give him grief over his camo and they didn't kill a deer that day.

Only a few of us would even know.
Do not wear any kind of Nazi symbols....that puts you well outside acceptable behaviour.
I despise nazis and racists and bigots of all sorts. Most I have encountered have serious self-loathing issues and no genuine rational for their beliefs.
That said, as time passes I see more people interested in WWII reenactments and historical displays and it does not shock as it once did.
I own several Nazi firearms....I consider them to be trophys of a good and just war that my people won over evil.....especially since they come from the USSR, another vanquished evil but in a colder war.

No, it's just another form of camo, so it's fine for hunting, etc. I would not wear anything with a Nazi symbol on it however.
