I have been having a headache for the past few days now. I feel intense pressure in the front of my head, and it really hurts. :( I am really afraid that it could be harmful or I could have a brain tumor or something. I have been stressed out lately because I had an amazingly hard project the other night that I stayed up until 3AM and had to wake up at about 7. Could it be something in the air, stress, brain tumor, what?

By the way, I'm on my period. Too much information, sorry. I don't know if this helps if I tell that at all.

More than likely it's just stress, but you'll stress yourself out more by worrying about it. Get yourself checked out. If it will help ease stress, request a MRI to be done.

I had headaches for about 5 years before the doctor's finally ordered a MRI to be done and I did have a brain tumor. But there are other symptoms to go along with that.

Good Luck!

Relax, try going to a chiropractor. Your neck or back is probably out of place, and the stress is not helping. Try a chiropractor first, and then if that doesn't work, then go see a doctor, not the other way around. It could save you a lot of money and be better for you body. My dad knows how to fix necks and backs, when I get a headache, then he works on my neck, it always works. Sometimes if my neck is really out of place, then it takes a few times before it is in place.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

It sounds like a migraine. Are you nauseated, does light hurt you, and is tylenol doing nothing at all for your headache? If you're a girl, are you on your period or due to start within the next day or two? Is your headache worse on one side of your head? Are you having trouble concentrating on stuff or feeling weak?

The good news is, there are meds for migraine. The bad news is, you have to see a doctor for them.

Most migraines don't last longer than 3 days. They say you should see a doctor if it lasts longer than that, because of an increased risk of stroke. I have menstrual migraines that last for 5 days each month, but I take herbal meds that lessen the severity.

Sounds like stress. If it was a brain tumor you would most likely be at the docs office already. Get some rest and if it still bothers you tomorrow get it checked out for peace of mind.

Stress plays a factor, but I would say that you might have a sinus infection or allergies to go along with all that. I hope you feel better soon!
