I am doing it by watching my weight( in terms of BMI),calorie in take, exercise and life style.
BMI= weight(Kgms)/(square of ht. in metres)
Recommended BMI values.
20 to 25 Normal
25 to 30 Over weight
above 30 Obesity.
Also keep a watch o other parameters, like Cholestrol ,blood sugar etc .Their recommended values are:
Total Cholestrol: less than 200 mg/ dl
Triglycerides: Less than 200 mg/dl
Sugar (fasting): Below 100 mg/dl
Sugar(after food): below 140.
Mantra :
Maintain BMI,Cholestrol and Blood sugar.
Ways: balanced diet(cereals,grains, vegetables,fruits,limited egg,meat,fish and dairy products)
Regular exercise
Suitable changes in life style.
