I've read up on how to treat a ear ache, and I've been told I could use olive oil, baby oil, but all I got is canola oil, would that work??

Go to the pharmacy and get sweet oil. Put the bottle in warm water to warm up the oil. Make sure it isn't too warm or hot. Use an eye dropper and put a few drops in your ear and then put some cotton in your ear. You can also use a heating pad. I use this oil and it works every time.

I was just talking to the pharmacist the other day and she said the only thing that treats them is an antibiotic.Over the counter ear drops only treat swimmers ear!As far as home remedies I haven't a clue!!

In my experince it's best not to put things in your ear unless a doctor has told you to do so. If you have troubles with your ears and its lasting for a while, I recommend seeing an ENT doctor (Ear, nose and throat).
