I am always worried about money, and what I spend it on, bills, etc. However, I have a fairly healthy savings account, make great money, improving credit score, growing 401k, and after all bills are paid each month, which mainly just consists of rent, car payment, insurance, and timeshare, utilities, and cell phone, I still have over 2000 dollars left to spend/save. I am single, and have no children, I am 30. But I am still constantly worried about money, to the point where I get headaches, depression, and anxiety problems over the subject. I work out everyday, and I also golf on a regular basis to keep occupied, and I do travel, which can be big financial burdens, but I pay cash for trips so I dont think its that bad. Should I seek help? The only reason I dont is becuase, I hear of other peoples stories, that make mine pale in comparison, but its still very stressful for me. What can I do?

If theres no problem then why worry? You shouldnt because there will be alot more and bigger problems that you will have to worry about when you get older. Just stick with what you are doing, and toss some money into certain things like your 401k, CDs, mutual funds, etc etc. And figure out how long you can live without working if you lose your job. Once you know how long you will live without working, you should be fine since you are working now. Dont sweat it bro....Oh, and also...figure out how long it will take them to fire you if you screw up badly alot of times. So, you can take that into account also.....

Well I am sure this is a normal condition in our society, as so much of our culture is based around money. Think about it, America was not set up as a community but more as a business venture. Did your parents have money problems, this could affect your view on your own money situation. It is most likely related to some unresolved energy that you are holding onto, perhaps hypnosis and life regression can help you uncover the real root of the cause.

You may have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. People with GAD worry about things often when there is no real basis for concern. The other symptoms you describe are common in GAD. Do you also worry excessively about other aspects of your life? If this persists talk to you doctor. He/she should be able to recommend a good psychotherapist. If that doesn't help there are medications that can help with anxiety.

Find something you like that keeps your mind off this topic. I mean are you really thinking about your fiancial status while fornicating with a hot chick?

It always best to think of the worst case senario, and then rationalize the situation from there. You will come to realize that you are no where near the worst case senario. Hope you get better.

its really a problem , because its taking its toll ,money should be spent and enjoyed, in your case you love meney for money's sake that you forget the purpose of money, its just money, you spend it to make you happy, then you gain it again by working its a cycle, the world is so messed up because people value money more than life,i dont want to do that to myself, its not wrong to have money, what is wrong is to love and regard money highly rather than more important things,if you think that having money is all that life means, then you are just making your self suffer, when i have money i spend it to enjoy, i dont make money my boss, money is my slave.
and still i dont go broke, i enjoy life, i hope you would stop worrying, " dont worry about a thing, cause every little things gonna be alright"- bob marley

I always worry about money for no reason. I think people do it on purpose because of our society these days. Everything is based on how much you make and how much you have to spend. Stupid world money isnt everything but everything has a price
