Is it fair, all you religious people, ..., for those of use who do not really know if God is or isn't (how can we tell? we can't see, hear, touch, taste or smell him, & who cares if there is a book called a bible, might be right, but could be compared to shakespear, or fortune tellers, etc, no-one knows for sure, MAN wrote the book too?)
But is it fair for an all loving & all knowing God (if he is indeed real) to utterly roast and murder an innocent atheist (if they would be willing to accept God were he proven to be real?)
How is it possible to love someone who will slay people for things they don't (or cannot) possibly know? How, how, how?
Would like your opinion pls?

By the way:
Those who think this universe is proof?
Maybe, maybe not?
Here is why:
Einstein proved matter & energy are never destroyed, only converted from one form, to another..., IE, burning wood to smoke, heat, light, etc.
Some argue the universe is in decay..., true, it IS losing energy. But what happens in black holes? It is GAINING energy, and NEW stars, planets etc form.
How do we know we haven't always been here in one form or another, & only more recently on the time scale, had the right materials to make us?
With forever for infinite possibilities to occur, anything that CAN happen probably will at some point or time. This was just our lucky time & universe, I guess. Think, people. Billions of universes, & we can't have one like this?
God is possible, I think, but also NOT possible.
I mean to say, seems to be just as much evidence for or against him existing, equating to essentially, nothing at all.
May as well have nothing at all, than try to prove unprovables?

P.S. I hae no issue with what philosopher said about blind faith, except I have seen what blindly believing in the wrong thing can do to you?
Since there is no apparent evidence great enought to really prove or disprove "God", I think it foolish right now to attempt to serve blindly, as if I am mistaken? I am made a fool & wasted life for nothing?
I care not if there is a burning roasting hell, but rather, I care, if what is being done is right or wrong...

Oh, & Mr. Awesome, though you can't see hear etc carbon monoxide, you CAN prove what it does & there ARE machines that can detect it (or allow us to see it).
Think man, microscopes? Slight enlargement of our environment under a curved glass, due to light refraction?
Come on now, don't be silly. What I am speaking of, there is no way to PROVE (or disprove) God. It's the ultimate impossible to prove (or disprove) thing!
Just threaten someone with eternal hell fire, any time they don't know if they should believe what you are saying, & VOILA! New convert (Out of fear). Always works, huh?
But where is da proof man? We CAN prove carbon dioxide, as if it were NOT here on earth (apparently, God isn't either) We more than likely would not know that it existed, nor be able to prove anything about it (just like God).
I am not rappin on yo God man, just saying, if he exist, I sure have no way of finding him. He doin the ultimate hiding or something?

Is it really fair not to believe in someone just because you cannot see, hear, touch, taste or smell him? To be honest, God didn't murder an atheist the devil did.... God has given the world to the devil for a time before He will put him where he belongs so isn't your question directed at the wrong person?
Do you believe that the air you breath helps you to stay alive? What air? You cannot see, hear, touch, taste or smell it but yet you still breath it in believing that it will help you breath.
As far as things you can know...it is possible, there is a bible you can read but even if don't read the bible you can know. How do you think you got here? Something, someone created you. Why not trying to sincerely believe and pray to God, ask him into your heart, give him the chance to be apart of your life once you do so you will be able to hear, touch, taste, and smell him.

In the Bible it say to preach the good news of gods kingdom throughout the entire inhabited earth ...everyone has the chance to learn what the bible teaches and to accept it or reject it. As someone already said God wishes none to be destroyed. No one can be considered innocent or of not knowing better because that would not be fair.
Faith is the assured expectation of something hoped for...we have faith that God is real because we have evidence that Prophecy is fulfilled. You may be up for a promotion at work, you have evidence that you will get that raise but you have no tangible proof that it is yours does that mean you should give up thinking you will get that promotion. No...I wouldn't.You would have faith that it is yours. I wouldn't give up believing in God just because I can't see him either.

Please re-read your question, and look up the meaning of the word FAITH. FAITH is the basis of religion.
That is the whole point. You believe, you go to heaven. Don't believe, off to the firery soup kettle. End of story.
You will see that your question makes no sense. God loves you and wants you to make the right choice. But if you refuse to believe (and why would you do that?) then you have made your own grave.
God DOES say that he will save those who did not hear of his word (i.e. infants, etc.) before they died.
I may love my fiance...but I'm not going to let him disobey me (i.e. cheat) and still allow him in my life. Why should God do the same?
It doesn't matter if it's "right or wrong". God makes the rules. We have to play by them whether we like it or not. God made rules for us so we DON'T suffer. Usually those who do not follow the rules are the ones who get hurt. Teen pregnancy, AIDS from unprotected drunk sex, and death from a drug overdose are all things that people do against God's will in the quest for their own pleasure. Not believing in God falls into the same category. You reap what you sow. I don't see how being an atheist automatically gives you a better life than being a believer.

look around you and tell me, don't u see God everywhere? There has to be an entity that has made the universe. That iws something which no human can do... According to the Bilble 'Happy are those who do not see yet believe'
I don't know where you have heard about atheists being roasted and murdered, but i guarantee you that there is no such concept in Islam and Christianity, as i have studied both
Just think for a second, what will happen to you after you die? You have to report to someone for your doings after your death.. You will be questioned for the tiniest mistake or lir you have told and there will be no one to back you up. You will be on your own....

Since you don't believe in religion or God, lets put this in other terms for a minute. You can't see, touch, taste, or smell air or carbon monoxide either. You are TOLD by man made science (which you can choose to believe or not) that air will support your life and carbon monoxide will kill you. You have been given all the knowledge you need to save your own life, but if you CHOOSE to enter a room marked with a warning about carbon monoxide and lose your life to asphyxiation, whose fault is it? God gives you the opportunity, choice and availability of information, if you choose to throw it back in his face how does that make you "innocent"? Also he is not "murdering" you, you have your life here on earth. He just doesn't "owe" you salvation in eternity for your choice of rejecting him! How is HE responsible for your choice? HOW? HOW? HOW?

If you were God would you rather be surrounded by people who question your every move or people who follow you on blind faith?
If I were God I would rather have people who follow me blindly and know that I would always do right by them, instead of having people who follow me because I've made my presence abundantly clear and just do what I say out of fear of being eternally tortured.
If your willing to look in the right places you will find that god does exist. like the old saying "God is in the details" take a closer look and you'll find things you never knew could happen.

Is it fair for Christians like myself to constantly feel harassed by non-Christians on Yahoo Answers? You talk of Christians hating you and "slaying" you but, when a generally nice Christian comes on Yahoo Answers to ask some questions, some atheist, and other non Christ believers automatically reticule them and call us crazy for believing in Christ. Telling us that we are nuts because we can't prove that God exist. Atheist can be hypocrites. You say that you are being treated poorly by Christians, yet you do the same thing. Take notice to all the questions in the Religion section, and see for yourself how many people who believe in Christ are constantly laughed at.

2 Peter 3:9 (New Living Translation)
"The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent".
We cannot begin to comprehend the love of God... it is limitless. Jesus loved us so much that He left the Glory of Heaven to come to this sin-sick world to take our place on the cruel cross of Calvary.
"He grew the tree, He knew would be, used to make the old rugged cross. Nothing took His life. With love He gave it. He was crucified, on a tree that He created. With great love for man, God gave us His Plan: He grew the tree so that we might go free."
IT'S NOT ABOUT RELIGION. RELIGION IS MAN-MADE. IT'S ABOUT RELATIONSHIP.

You sound worried.
He didn't ask you to prove anything. He said believe. You sound like you know quite a bit. People who like to debate often do. Maybe if you would stop talking you would be able to expand your views on not only this but alot of other things.
Good luck on your journey, it looks like it will be long and tiresome.
