Lets say, theoretically speaking, the mitochondrial DNA found in the tomb could be proven that it was Jesus, and that it was the family Tomb of Mary, Joseph, Jesus, Mary Mag. and Judah. Would this mean that since Jesus didn't die on the cross, no one is saved?

hmm ,I believe that if not Jesus man would conjure up something to believe in if not Christ it would be something else.the Bible was written by mans hands not Gods so therefore man would of written something else. The Bible existed way before Christ ,its the old testament.Jews never considered Jesus a savior because he was not mentioned in the old testament and there doing fine with just believing in God.

Scriptures are very clear on the death of Jesus Christ.He died for our sins and on the third day he rose from death and ascended to heaven.He will come for the second time to tke those who live according to scriptures.Those tombs unearthed in Israel do not belong Jesus family.

You are saved if you follow his path, he came to show us the path of goddness and if everyone listen to him this earth would be like heaven, love god more than anything else, and love others as you love your selves rememering that god is inside of everything even rocks, trees, etc. So then you should love everything above all so you would be a saint, if everyone follow this imagin it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no one could be a thief, or murderer, or any bad stuff because you love others as much as yourself and god is in everyone and everything so if we follow his path we are saved not because he died on the cross but because we can live with love and peace and we wouldnt be able of evil in any form... we are not saved for his death but because of his life, and his teachings

All I have to say is forget everything that religion shoves down your throat and listen for just one minute to what jesus and gandhi and buddha and all the other religious people were saying. I don't think jesus willingly died on the cross so we could say "forgive me" and be forgiven. I think he willingly died so that people would see how devoted he was just to get his message across. He gave his life so that people would remember him not worship him.

Jesus did die... it was prophesized He wud come and He did, and it was His mission to teach and DIE ...no what IF's lol..God made Jesus before all things for a reason, God is all-knowing u know, and He saw all this coming im sure of it...so yeah all is saved if u have that knowledge of The Good News

No it take faith to put your beliefs on facts like that and i dont think its true. People are filled with suffering and judgment and need to know their is an end and hope for more life. Its not who you know it what you know.

Logically and spirituality wise, it does not make any sense that you are saved just because you believe in Jesus. No matter how he died, you need to follow his preaching and then you might be SAVED!
