Well now. This is one of the best questions Ive come across so far! LOL. Well, if I were you in that situation, I'd definitely smile back. Maybe ignoring them wasn't a good idea because what if she liked you too, you know? Then just ignoring her will discourage her from pursuing you. In my opinion, if you see her again tomorrow, just walk up to her, say hi, and compliment her or something. You never know, you may be lucky and be able to ask her to dinner or something and have a great time!
=D

If she is not single than you should not go for it, if they ever break up though you should definitely offer her a shoulder if she needs one, "For every girl with a broken heart there is a guy with a glue gun," be there for her with a glue gun.then make your move after they have had a little time, flirt with her but first talk to her and get to know her as a friend and a person.

The worse is when you get paired with her and then you kinda get locked-jaw or dumbfounded and lost for words. DUH....
That happened once and never did after that one time. I had to learn to be more outgoing really quick. Which means....take advantage of the situation and talk to her. Even if it means classroom talk. Let it build momentum and then add more in. Soon, you will be asking her out and the rest shall become history. You never know until you talk..... =)

hey, that happened to me! I was all shy too, but he persisted, and now we've been together 16 glorious years, with two little ones!
Next class, smile, if you still are too shy to talk, don't worry, you'll have plenty more classes together to warm up. Soon you'll be passing notes and failing class without a care! Good luck!

THAT WAS THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I DID WITH A GUY THAT I LIKED!! I had him for several classes and he would stare at me, always making eye contact but never sayinh Hi nor smile. BIG MISTAKE...I haven't seen him on campus
Definitely say Hi or smile...don't make the mistake that I did :)

FLIRT with her duh.....slip her a note girls like that...
all you have to write on the paper is HI! or something like that.. it will start something and it could be between just you two for awhile..
slip her a note once a day with something simple on it then in a few weeks ask her out with a note like that.
sounds ramantic huh..
