my parents got me a new car and i was so exited to drive it i forgot my parking pass, in my other car. i was already half way to my school but i didn't want to get a ticket, so i drove back home to get the past.

on my way back to school it was like 7:40 then and middle school students where just starting to go to school and one of the areas that i drive pass is a school zone. well i was already running little late but i was trying to obey the speed limit so i only drove like one or two over the limit. and when i drove though the school zone the speed is 35 limit is and i drove 36 but like the light were flashing and i didn't see it which meant that i should have been going 20... well a cop saw me and pulled me over now i got a ticket... but that not the worse part i haven't had my license more then 6 months yet and i had a friend in the car... yeah pretty bad...

i called my patents and they were just really disappointed. i feel really bad. what should i do? am i a bad driver?

Well, you are a bad driver, but that is not your fault. You need a lot more experience at driving to become a good driver. It takes years of experience and adult responsibilty and attitude to be a good driver. Even then, many do not become good drivers.

You also need to start (immediately) obeying the rules of the road. You are making your own rules and ignoring the ones that you know are the law. You deserved the ticket. Use it as a lesson and start following the rules that you agreed to follow when you got your license. You license is provisional, which means you can lose it if you don't obey the rules. The purpose of the ticket is to remind you that you MUST follow traffic laws - especially the important ones like speed laws near schools.

You were going 36 in a school zone. I don't think you will have to worry about driving much longer. They take those stupid school zones way to seriously. I would not be surprised if they pull your license.I don't support those school zones. I think there just speed traps. But you need to be more careful about watching out for things like that. I can't say if your a bad driver. But you definitely need to pay more attention to your surrounding areas
