The ACLU.

Contrary to what many on this forum might proclaim. Atheism is indeed an organized belief system much like Christianity. The keyword is "ism". Latin for "a belief (or system of beliefs) accepted as authoritative by a group or school."

In fact, there are more stringent rules and fundamental beliefs involved in atheism than there is in Christianity. Funny how the atheists denounce the very organized system of beliefs that they themselves practice.

You're going to have to do better than that. If you are going after violent atheist militias, there aren't any that I know. If, on the other hand, you're looking for atheist organizations that are trying to ensure ongoing separation of church and state, there are the following:

The Freedom from Religion Foundation
American Atheists
Atheist Alliance International
Brights Movement
The Council for Secular Humanism
The James Randi Educational Foundation
The New England Skeptical Society.

lol there is no such thing as an extremist atheist. Atheism is the disbelieve in god nothing more. It has no associated doctrine that encorages violence to others such as the Bible or Quran. Now there have been bad people that were atheist but this does not contribute to them being atheist.

Yahoo! Answers.

The internet is the only venue we can openly share each other's thought and ideas without risking physical or property damage.

The internet is about as extreme as we get, I'm afraid.
