I have my doubts about the whole god, bible thing. it's just to much to comprehend. back in the day when all this stuff was suppose to have gone down, only a few people know how to read and write. the populace was basically uneducated and all it would take was a few people that knew how to read and write, to make up a story, and blank uneducated mines would by it, they didn't know any better. There is to much in the bible that makes no sense. ex ; Adam and Eve were supposed to be the first humans on earth, one made from the other, they had children and the children travled to far off lands and married, married who? They were the children of Adam and Eve, there were no other people in the world! According to the bible incest was against the laws of god, so where did these "people" come from? This is just one of the many questions that I have about the God, Bible thing. Thanks for listening.

I am pretty much half and half on this subject. I believe most of the bible is just a metaphor..ie ADAM and EVE. I have no way of genuinely knowing that GOD wrote it. I do feel that when they always say heavenly father, I begin to wonder where the mother GOD plays a role in all of this. She is more than just MOTHER EARTH. I am sure she helped create the entire universe as well. I suppose we will only know all of the answers when we pass on. PEACE AND HAPPINESS+

The argument generally runs thus:
The Bible is the word of God because it says in the Bible that the Bilble is the word of God and since it says in the Bible that the Bible is the word of God, the Bible must be the word of God, or it wouldn't say so in the Bible.

The Old Testament is of Satan"
The Old Testament and the 10 Commandments are of Satan.
Read the 4 Gospels for yourself, you have to read it for yourself.
If you do not believe me I offer this as proof.
Daniel 200300 days divided by 360 days equals April 19, 33 AD, this is the Lords's Day.
This has eluded man for over 2000 years, but it was revealed to me. I think not, everyone knows this fact, but they don't want you to know it.

" Religion" gets you no where. The 'religious' strive to keep the
'words of the bible' for a "God" far away and unobtainable.....
Turn Religion into Relationship with God. First by humbling yourself , asking God to show you Himself......... The '' words'' in the bible come alive and Life to you!

I highly doubt that the Bible is from God. I don't believe for one minute that "God" had chosen people. I don't believe for one second that "God" commanded his chosen people to thrust through every man, woman, child, and suckling from neighboring communities with the sword. I don't believe for one millisecond that "God" ever told his chosen people to keep the virgin women for themselves as booty. Yet, that is exactly what the Old Testament says God did. It is totally disgusting bullsh*t.

These called RCV version of Bible.
The Protestants regarded 7 books as ‘apocrypha’ (doubtful authority) and removed them from Bible.
(The Book of Judith
The Book of Tobias
The Book of Baruch
The Buck of Esther, etc. )
Jesus pbuh said in the book of Revelation Chapter 22 Verse 18-19 ". . . If any man shall add to these things (or delete) God shall add unto him the plagues written in this Book."
On deleting 7 books from bible, the Catholics call ‘cult of Christianity’ to the Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses.

It is from middle eastern bronze age goat herders that were telling each other stories at night, around the camp fire, plying to scare each other.... God is the central fictional character of many of these tales and legends.

I know the Bible is from God because I read it. This is not an absolute truth, but basically I have found that people who read the Bible end up believing it can't be from humans. People who never read it never end up believing it. This may not seem too profound but you may find some useful truth here if you put it into practice.
