To be the bride of Christ? Who wouldn't be proud? To bear his name and to be one with his flesh? It is an indescribable honor. The pearl at great price is not even close .

I am proud to be a Catholic because I can receive His most Precious Body and Blood every day at Mass. My sins can be forgiven every time I go to Confession. I can feel His Presence in prayers and meditation. He answers prayers, the same Catholic prayers that our Church has.
The proof? He showed me in visions. He also showed me how a soul looks through His eyes. Defiled by sins, they are changed into little monsters. That is why we need to repent every day to clean our souls just like how we clean our bodies.
We pray for the conversion of all souls here on earth and poor sinners every where, the salvation of the dying and healing of the sick.
It is great to be a Catholic.
Taking Holy Communion at Mass takes away our venial sins. But confession takes away our mortal sins.

there are many ways in which I am proud to be Catholic, but first I must address
Molly.------who just responded....Have you ever been to confession?I too thought why is it important to go to confession,if it is God who is offering forgiveness why should I confess my sins to anyone.I was wrong...There is such an enlightenment afterwards, that is so much more powerful to HAVE to say what you have done out loud.it brings self awareness, and a true feeling of peace.Let your judgement of your Catholic faith be your first confession, embrace it.
There are numerous reasons to be proud, although I wish our choir would loosen up a little bit.

I am supposedly catholic or somy mother tells me but I dont practice it for one simple reason: i just dont believe you can go into a booth and confess your ugliest sins and recieve absolution. absolution or forgiveness if you will comes from GOD HIMSELF not a priest or even the pope
