Over here in Houston, some cafeteria workers found the Virgin Mary on a greasy Pizza Pan at an elementary school. People are praying to it!!! I laughed so hard!

It's been overplayed by the sensationalistic or shall i say 'sin'sationalistic media.
If you haven't noticed most of these stem from those whom aren't from the US and dare I state the intellect maybe questionable.
However, I am Catholic and I do not deny that stigmata and other occurrences happen, I do discount seeing Jesus in bread or Mary on a grease stain as the media shows it.That is just hype, much like the recent story of the tree shedding fresh water and they all thought it was a miracle when in fact the city located a broken line that forced the water up through the tree and it was leaking out of a hole made by the pressure in the tree. It's all for publicity and ratings. Much like the recent re-discovery of the so-called Jesus bones by the asshole Cameron. What a crock of ****!
Anyhow, although most are these occurrences are discounted and left to personal beliefs and perception, I say, if it works for you, then great! If it makes you closer to God, awesome. If you charge for it, you are some work of crap and should never have any credibility ever again!

I believe that it can happen but, I also believe that all of the everyday items that we are seeing is a way for the Evil One to make a mockery of the real images of the Shroud or the Tilma of St.Juan Diego with Our Lady of Guadalupe on it. Why else do you think there would be an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary on a grilled Cheese sandwich?

I feel sorry for people who see "Mary" in patterns and will travel many thousands of miles, pay many hundreds and thousands of dollars just to gander at it and worship an idol.
I took a picture of a shadow that resembled what could be construed as Jesus on the cross. If I had no conscience, and if I had no self respect, I could easily take advantage it and make money off these poor gullible people. I'm even hurting for money! Even so, I would never dream of capitalizing off some one who tends to worship even rocks shaped like what they believe to be a saint or Christ, at the drop of a hat. "Oh look! There's a rock! Hurry!!!Lets worship it! It looks like St. Father Sarducci"
Don't get me wrong, I believe in God and his Son, Jesus, and I worship God. There was a reason God did not want people making idols. God wanted worship, but did not want mankind worshiping rocks, wood or anything else. They cant move, breath, talk and they cant do miracles.

I think they must. Otherwise, nobody would have kept the Shroud of Turin. As for the grilled cheese, well, let's just say that a fool and his money are easily parted.

Yes.... my father was a Catholic priest before he married my mom.... and so we grew up with very strong Catholic beliefs. My mom still has some rose petals that she swears they have the immage of the Virgen on them.
As for me.... as I grew older I kinda began to challenge the beliefs of the Catholic Church.... however... the petals DO have some kind of image... weather it is the virgen or not... I couldn't tell ya... but they have some kind of figure.

Some believe and others scoff at such nonsense. I believe it is a sign of desperation and spiritual loneliness. "Show me a sign. Please, Lord, show me a sign! Even if it's only the face of the Virgin on a grilled cheese sandwich!"

I saw a rotten chunk of someone's moldy wall selling on Ebay -- it supposedly had the image of "Mary" on it. Seriously, a moldy chunk of wall. How f-ucking retarded can one be? I can piss an image of Santa Claus in the snow, and it'd probably sell too.

There are many writings of Allah (God) in Arabic in nature; in seeds, fruit, a beehive, lights, clouds, geographical areas, even your own hand, plus many more..yet none of these miracles yield some sort of profit because they are not intended to be "sold". When it comes to some Christian image, however, right away money and profit is considered before anything else.
