Do you have a say in where you live?

I really want to live within walking distance of my college and I know there are plenty of row homes and apartments near it and that some section 8 people live there but the problem is if I can choose where I live at.

As long as you can get a section 8 voucher to pay your rent and the landlord is willing to take section 8, you can pretty much live where ever.

You would have to check with section 8 where you live to get that question answered. Here where I live you can choose where you live.

I don't know what state you live in, but where I live I can choose. As long as the landlord is ok with it and it's within your voucher price it should be ok.

i think the phrase: BEGGERS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS...sums it up nicely. I am not trying to be smart, but they usually dont allow you to pick where you want to live...you usually just get whats available...after a very long wait on the waiting list...good luck.
