Also, how come some people pray to Jesus instead of directly praying to God? If Jesus is not as high as God, then shouldn't the only thing worshipped be God and not lesser idols symbolizing religious figures? Worshipping idols--doesn't that sound familiar to ancient Paganism?

Remember, narrow is the path that leads to Life, and few there are who find it. Most Christians only THINK they are truly saved.

But Jesus IS God in human form. He accepted worship while on earth. In fact, He rewarded it! If He was merely a prophet, he was a piss poor one. He SHOULD have been stoned to death for THAT! Jesus is either a Liar, a Lunatic, or truly the Lord of Creation. Better figure out which now, while there is still time!

Uh, I think you've got your facts mixed up here. It's not okay to worship idols and things other than God. This is very clearly stated, oh, hundreds of times, in the old testament. The problem is that a lot of people don't realize they are worshipping idols, and then someone on the outside can look at what they are doing and see it, but they don't because, well, unfortunately sometimes people love their sin, and don't want to give it up.

Jesus was God incarnate. He didn't become any less God because He became a man. Rather, He added to himself and a mantle of flesh. There is a single entity: God, who eternally exists in three persons. Christ was there at the beginning when God said "Let there be light" So was the Holy Spirit. And Christians do pray to God the Father, but we do so through Christ, because it is only through Christ that we can be sanctified and go before the Father.

When you look at the Holy Trinity, you see that it is composed of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. From this, you can already derive that they are all one with each other. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all the same. Jesus is God, transcended into our world.

No Christian denomination worships an idol. What you think is that since many Christians have statues or paintings of representations of God, that Christians actually worship these idols. These statues and pictures are nothing more than representations. It is not like Christians are worshipping the statue or picture itself. Christians are worshipping the entity that the idol represents. The idol just allows Christians to put a "face" to God.

Jesus is God. He is truly God and truly Man. He is the Second Person in the Holy Trinity, not an individual. If the Father creates, so does the Son and the Holy Spirit. If the Son saves, so does the Father and the Holy Spirit. If the Spirit sanctifies, so does the Father and the Son, as there is only One God in Three Persons. Read the Gospel of John, as it is about Jesus being God.

When Christianity went from being a dissident sect of Judaism to the state religion of the Roman Empire, it absorbed a lot of Roman and German paganism. That's where all the Christian idol worship comes from - along with almost all of the major Christian holidays, including the big two, Easter and Christmas.

You must not be a Christian. Jesus is God, He came in the flesh to redeem mankind. What idols are you talking about. It seems for someone who isn't a Christian you make a lot of accusations about things that are clearly wrong. We worship the Living God not a dead one.

I used to think that Jehovas Witness was the worst religion because it brain washes their victims. But more and more I see that all organized religion does. Anyone that worships jesus christ on the cross is idolizing how perfect a man he was. They are hypocrites of the worst kind.

We have a jealous God, It is never okay to worship anyone/thing other than God, because everything you have belongs to God. Jesus was sent by God, that is why it is okay.
