Sorry, I got it wrong on purpose. I thought he said, "Get stoned until you die." The years I have wasted on this misinterpretation!

The Last Ent Wife, so the Old Testament in the Bible is just there for fun? And your telling me that Christians do not follow the OT? Wow, just because the OT has violent influence in it and the religion of Christianity cannot afford being thought of as a religion of violence in any form or way because thats what they are doing to the Muslims today...
Yes, in the OT, is it said to stone people to death for certain crimes committed by people, one being adultery, and another for being involved with homosexual intercourse/activity. The accused woman/gay would be stoned to death. Christians, don't try to deny it, and there are many, many more violent verses that were probably deleted in the revised versions of the Bible. And here the Muslims are being accused of their religion being a religion of violence, yet none of these people have actually read the Qu'ran and are only getting information second-hand, like from racist people or the media-biased TV! How corrupt!

Deuteronomy 18:12, this verse shows that God sometimes punishes an entire nation. I'm sure that is a very dramatic and horrible event. I think (opinion) that He wanted the Israelites to stone people so that the crimes that God is willing to punish would not become so widespread that He would be moved to punish the whole nation. I mean if your neighbor got his brains smashed out for sleeping with some other guys wife, then how much less likely would you be to do the same sin? Then God would be that much less likely to punish the whole nation.

I've never read this in the bible, and even if something like that is written, the bible was wrote by humans, and i believe that was for controlling people so they wold have fear of everyone and so they wouldn't do bad stuff, but we have to remember than when people tried to kill Mary Magdalene with stones Jesus said those who are free of sins cast the first stone so i think that he didnt agree with that and hi is like God talking.

God has never told me to stone anyone. He commanded us to love Him and to love our neighbors.

Because there are certain sins that so contaminate a society that it is better for the society to be rid of that sin.

You should read more and not just take a poke at something that you do not understand.
