It is fascinating how many questions there are about the hair of Jesus. Somewhere in my studies, I read that Jesus' hair was similar to Herod's hair, a very particular woolly kind of hair. Although I do not know of what Jesus used on his hair, there are mentions of Herod's personal toiletries, including lavender oil and rose waters.
