Sure...get a bag of frozen berries at the supermarket and put a cup to a cup and a half of those in the blender while still frozen with a cup of ice cold cranberry juice or apple juice and blend until smooth. Can't be simpler than that.

This is a really good breakfast / dessert smoothie. It's really yummy -- I came up with it myself!!!

You need:

1 cup of strawberries, washed and tops cut off (preferably fresh, but frozen and drained is ok too -- you can also substitute other fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, peaches, etc. here -- experimentation is good :D )

2 large scoops of chocolate chip ice cream (approximately 1 and a half cups or so, eyeballing it -- Dreyer's is good here)

1 cup of crushed ice

1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional but really good)

Add ingredients to a large blender and blend on high for about a minute or until ingredients are completely mixed. Add additional ice and blend if a thicker smoothie is desired. Enjoy!!! (You should be able to make about 2+ servings of this, depending on how hungry you are :D )

Good luck -- this smoothie is really rich, chocolatey, and yummy -- enjoy!!! :D

Here's my recipe:

Frozen Blueberries, Mangos, Strawberries, or peaches (pick one for each smoothie)
Vanilla Soy Milk such as Silk
Honey
Flaxseed (optional)

Measure ingredients according to desired sweetness and consistency. Blend in blender until smooth. Do not thaw the fruit before adding to blender.

The flaxseed is only if you want omega-3's. It does affect the taste so you might want to skip that part.
