I don’t believe in God, I don’t believe in Jesus as a God, but I do respect Jesus as a great human that his guidelines at a time, and maybe until now, have its major effect in human behaviors. For that, I think to myself, Jesus bones should be kept hidden away in peace from the hands of everyone, to keep his image as a great icon, but not to see his bones scattered in front of us on our TV screens.

Many to that would think the true story should come to surface. Many call thinking of that is sanity (because to them Jesus is somewhere in the Sky). Many are wishing to change the picture of Christianity. Many just want to free himself from being a believer and want for any little trace of evidence against his inherited belief to finally come in front of our eyes…

Would you like for Jesus bones to be discovered, and why?

It can't happen because his bones are not in the place where he was buried. The Roman soldiers would have known if he was still there, but he was gone.

Well... if they are legit, then why wouldn't anyone not want them to exist...? I mean if they are the real deal than all need to know... so that way people do not falsly believe in something... the problem is, is that there will never be any convincing evidence to prove they are his... there will always be sceptics... plus bones are a hard thing to prove belong to someone... whom we had no DNA of... plus chances are they are a hoax.... look at the other cases where "Jesus' bones" were found... they turned out to be a scam...
So I personally don't believe they are his... so therefor i would say that he is in heaven, and his bones still in use... And i firmly believe one day i will get to meet him... and his Father...(God) but that is my belief...

Because Jesus is God in the flesh and He now lives in Heaven. His bones went to heaven with Him. They will not be discovered here.

Who is this Jesus? How can you respect Jesus as a great human and accept His guidelines, if He is a liar? He tells us that He is God in the flesh. He says that He is the only way to salvation. He tells us that He is the only begotten Son of God. He tells us that He is the sacrifice for our sins that He died and is now alive. Is He a liar or is He the only begotten Son of God?

Writersbl, I'm not Catholic but,
If Jesus had married and had children, it would change things. He would not be God's Son because Jesus is God and the only reason that He came to the earth was to die in our place for our sins. Death was why he came. Please read Isaiah 53 which, is prophesy concerning Jesus, written around 600 years before His birth,. Especially verse 8 about His descendants.

Either way it doesnt affect my Faith.

I think the ones who really would battle this tooth and nail would be the catholic relgion.
For years catholicism has been an oppressive religion with its stringent guidelines on what is and isnt considered a sin.

They're believe of celebacy would be challenged, forall their priests -- who by the way how many catholic priests are respnsible for child molestation.

I was an altar boy, I was contemplating becoming a priest in my early years -- no I was never molested, as some catholic supporters might be quick to comment.

If JESUS had a wife and child, it wouldnt change HIS message, of Loving GOD with all your Heart Mind and Soul, and Love your neighbor as you love yourself.

But it would impact catholicism very much as it would challenge their teachings and rituals directly.
And some scholars as well, whove spent their life trying to be experts on the subject, wont want this to be true so they will say much to oppose its validity.

But do as they may, it would only humanize JESUS CHRIST and pull off some of the over stringent rules catholicism has placed on its followers for too long now.

but again, either way, it doesnt affect JESUS' message, so it doesnt affect me either

A very thought provoking question. I'm speaking from the position of being Deist. I was a Christian at one time, and residual feelings come up from that experience from time to time. This is one of those times. On one hand, the realist and science lover in me wants it known, if it is the truth. On the other hand, thinking about what it would do to Christianity, from Rome to the corner church, is mind boggling. But to say I hope it's true? Honestly, it won't affect my beliefs either way, and I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, but I just don't have a stake in the outcome. I'm interested though, it's fascinating, and I will watch the Discovery special on this one. I'm willing to bet it will be the highest rated program in their history.

I don't really care much, but it is sure fun seeing the Christians squirm. And you know, if this find had agreed with their story, well the guy would be up for the Nobel Prize right now. They will keep telling you they found the Ark on much flimsier evidence, but this couldn't possibly be right.

I really can't wait to watch the documentary now. I shall record it and I hope the guy has a great case.

these bones are not Jesus Christ's bones- I know that those who do not believe are hoping that they are there, so that they do not have to be held accountable for the truth. Even if they say beyond a shadow of a doubt these are the bones of Jesus- that is man making the statement- Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but HALLELUJAH!! He is risen, He is not here. One day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is God. Praying that one day , before it is too late, you will see this too.

Saying yes or no, either ways that will make me not a believer of God. Part of me find it such an enthusiastic moment the time they will reveal those bones, yet I would prefer the mystery of finding Jesus tomb remains undiscovered for ever.

people will believe what they want to, and ignore the rest.

Some people will believe a book from years ago was a from a man in the sky and some people will believe bones in the ground from years ago was from a man in the sky

What kind of mind do you have. You believe on the TV show or movie Show or s tories, fake stories like what you are saying but you do not believe God and Jesus Christ. It only shows your below average ;thinking on that way and then you are acting as an intelligent man. Ooooooh, what is happening to you. I pity you so much.

This would be impossible, Jesus went back to the heavens and sits at the right hand of God, he arose from the dead, to defeat death, thus defeeting sin in the world. He appeared to many witnesses and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
