Isn't it a gamble when you choose a particular religion? Christainity, Islam, Buddhist... aren't you gambling when you pick one over the other w/ no concrete proof that any are real? By proof I mean just that.. Proof. Sure, Jews and Christians think that "god" did talk to moses and abraham and noah, but since then (3000-4000 years ago) he has hit the mute button and has refused to manifest himself to the world since. Even when so much hurt has come as a direct result of his name, ie. the spanish inquistion, salem witch trials, abortion bombings, count 'em 3 separate crusades etc.

Why do you believe in a god at all? Since there is no evidence and you most likely have never heard his loud booming voice in your house. And the only knowledge you have of him was written in a man made book. Written in exactly the same place you think is crazy for believing they will find virgins in heaven after commiting suicide.

Maybe your god will send you to hell for being such a SELF RIGHTEOUS B***CH.
I personally don't worry about it at all. The only reason you are so obsessed with the idea is you are terrified at the thought of your own death, and you need some ridiculous story to ease your mind. I don't care about your believes and I would like you to stop trying to jam religion down my throat with your threats of hell, science works for me.

The reason that unbelievers don't see what you're saying is because they are in denial. If they were to acknowledge the truth of your statement, they would have to face the cold reality of hell that you've mentioned.
But, you say, they could turn. However, no one turns to God apart from a supernatural work of God within their hearts. No one comes to God unless God draws him (John 6:44). And so even if unbelievers acknowledged the reality of God, they would not turn and be saved because they love their sin and they hate God.
All of this should bring humility to those who believe!

I'm stunned! Why, I never had that thought. I do believe that I'll have to convert now - the argument is just so strong and, well, new!
Another simp with Pascal's Wager, thinking he (or she) has an original thought.

They do not believe this is a gamble since they don't believe in God!... meaning they don't believe in an after-life.

I only gamble when I am confident I am right. For me gambling that there is no god is a good bet.

There are some who are chosen for righteousness and some for unrighteousness, aren't you glad you have been chosen from the foundation of the earth. We are a peculiar people, aliens in this land which is not our home. They have chosen to not believe and deny the truth and one day Jesus will have to say,"Depart from me I never knew you."

Speaking of gambling, have you ever considered that you placed your own bet on the wrong God?
