This is a difficult question for me to answer. It isn't because eight is a large number or that I do not believe I am blessed. It is hard because I have to limit my blessings to 8 things. First off, I have the ability to read. It is a blesing because I can read my Bible and grow closer to God. I can also read books for fun and expand my mind. Next, I have a father and a mother that would do absolutely anything for me. I am blessed because I live in a country that I don't have to worry about being banned from schools because I am female or being beaten because I laughed in public or walked without a man to escort me. Having freedom is a blessing. I am blessed because I have a man have a man that loves me dearly and is able to comfort me when I am sad, is someone I can laugh with, be serious with, pray with, and eat with. Having a man that I connect with completely is a blessing. I am blessed because I am in good health. I may be perfect, but I can walk, I can see, and I can hear. I am blessed with my ability to sing and bless others in worship. I am blessed with friends that care about and who write me to just me how things are going in my new city. I am blessed to have an older brother that I am so close with that I can tell anything to him and know without a doubt, he is my friend and my brother and nothing will change that. Lastly but not least, I am blessed because I am alive. If I didn't live to see this day, I would have missed so much.

you know it amazes me reading through these. How many answers didn't have God at the top of the list. Also how many of them consider what they have as a blessing. Here are what I consider the blessings I have in life;
1. I'm certian about where I am going. My journey here on earth is only a stop on my way home!
2. I have found Jesus many times. Most of which he was saving me from mistakes I would have made.
3. Kaylee. She is my oldest daughter. Who is only a half sister to my other two. But she saved me! I was headed down a road to substance abuse when I found out about her. she is my angel. In a litteral sense.
4. My husband, Ryan. He walks beside me in this life. And he will be there in the next with me. He is what lead me back to Christ. and helped me to toss my burdens at the door.
5. Kelsee. She is my middle child. And she saved me from almost making a huge mistake. In tossing Ryan to the curb.
6. Alyssa. My youngest. Anytime I am frustrated about anything. She is the one I go to. I know it sounds odd. Going to an 18 month old for help. But you know it's hard not to smile when she's around. She is so happy and nothing gets her down.
7. My extended family. Who is always there. Ready to jump through hoops for me if needed. They are willing to give it all for someone in need. How many familys out there are like that?
8. My friends. Who are more like my extended family than anything. They are always only a phone call away. And they know the same is true from me!
I have more blessings than that. But you only asked me to name 8. And you know those are the ones at the top of my list. Everything else I could do without! God Bless!

"Got no diamonds, got no pearls, still I think I'm a lucky girl. I got the sun in the morning and the moon at night".
I also have:
1. My health
2. My spouse
3. My son
4. My job (that I love)
5. The roof over my head
6. I can make ends meet
7. My old cat purring on my lap at this very moment
8. The ability to count blessings.
I guess that makes 10. Life is GOOD ! ! !

My daughter.
My health.
My cats (they're warm on my feet).
My mother (she gets me).
My friends.
My nice things (I worked hard for them and luxuriate in them and didn't always have them and don't take them for granted and realize I can't take it with me, which is why I consider "things" a blessing. Most people in the world have a lot less.)
Abundance (I am considered "poor" but I always have everything I need)
Living in a country that I can have all this and be female and be independent and on my own. Most women around the world do not share in the basic luxuries we have, like toilets, sanitary supplies, birth control, or say over your own body.
What are your blessings, questioner?

That is easy:
The love of my life, my wife. A more wonderful blessing is hard to find for me.
Four beautiful, healthy, wonderful children (I'll count this as one)
A good job that provides an income for my family
A nice, warm and adequate home to live in
A loving supportive, caring extended family that makes life so rich and full
Good friends that are fun, energetic and caring
A faith and belief in God, who holds me accountable for the things I do and what gives me purpose in life
For being able to enjoy this beautiful earth that God has provided for us to dwell on. Watching a beautiful sunset over an ocean horizon is uplifting and reinforces my belief that God loves us and is in yonder heavens.
