I like Vicks 44. I have had coughs before that wouldn't allow me to sleep and it always helps. My grandma made homemade cough syrup. She used lemon, honey, and whiskey. I think equal parts of each.

In conjunction with these cold medicines, I would be getting some vitamin C from orange juice. Or try some Airborne or Emergen-C. These are both good immune boosters and contain a lot of vitamin C and other vitamins essential to the body. Anytime I use a cold medicine by itself, it does not work for me. I have to add the Emergen-C or the Airborne to go along with the medicine. However, I do not take these things at the same time. I wait for two hours, then take the other.

When I was pregnant i got colds and cough but my doctor told me that because of my condition I will not be given any medicine to relieve it. She just told me to take in chewable vitamin C 500 mg 2 times a day. preferrably in the morning and evening. that 1000 mg a day and it works for me. Also you can try drinking green tea with lemon juice and have enough rest and fluids. but if it still persist for you, you have to consult a doctor it might be pneumonia.

by skill of unfavorable 3, i'm assuming you recommend celsius? i'm in Idaho, united statesA. stunning now on my farm is is 12 ranges fahrennheit. it rather is -11 celsius. of direction it rather is the daylight hours intense temperature for us. After the sunlight is going down it gets chilly. in all hazard right down to -20 fahrennheit, it rather is -28.8 celsius. of direction if the wind starts up, and that i could desire to factor in wind kick back, then it gets even chillier, very, very quickly. final year with wind kick back factored in, we had -sixty 8 fahrenheit, it rather is -fifty 5.5 celsius....we had that for a pair of week strait. I basically checked....we've a 7mph wind. so as that effectively brings the exterior temperature right down to a million degree fahrenheit, or -17 celsius. Winds are assume to %. up this night to approximately 35 mph.....going to be an fairly chilly night in my neck of the worldwide. ~Garnet Homesteading/Farming over 20 years

Wow, that is exactly what happened to me. I am using Sudafed for daytime & Tylenol Cold (non-drowsy) at night, and that is working pretty well. What really helped me too was to drink a lot of cold water.

I always use Zicam at the first signs of a cold. I never seem to get one when I use this in time. You can get it in a nose swab or a nose spray i think.
