You still should tell him and get your feelings out there. Or else, you might explode one day because it's so hard keeping all your feelings inside and not letting him know. Although you may never see him again, telling him will lift something heavy off your heart (trust me on this one!).

Write him a letter and tell him to read it one day when he misses you. Put it all on the paper. Just so if you or he were not to be here tomorrow he would know how you felt. Just let him know that you cant wait to see him again as a best friend or more. Even if you have to be just his best friend im sure as long as it was off you chest you would feel better then NEVER knowing what could have happend.

Just tell him, because once he leaves and you miss him you're going to wish you told him. Since he's leaving anyway, doesn't really matter because you'll never see him again. So just tell him, it'll make you feel better.

No tell him, or you'll always be wondering what if. Besides who knows long distance relationships have worked.

I think you should tell him how you really feel otherwise you'll go through life wondering and saying, "should've" "would've" "could've"

i'd tell him, even though you are best friends, who knows, if he comes back, he will remeber you and maybe ask you out
