Ok, my mom has told me time and time again that I don't really love my boyfriend and that we are more like best friends...

I mean I don't feel like its that way, so why does she keep saying it!?

I've been with him for a year and a half now and we haven't broken up once. We have fights but we never stay at eachother for more than half an hour..

WHY DOES SHE KEEP SAYING IT THEN!? could she maybe envey what we have, I mean she got divorced twice..

Next time she says that to you explain to her that he is your boyfriend and your best friend, the two don't have to be mutually exclusive. She may just be worried that you will get hurt if she has had negative experiences before.

My bf is my best friend. I can't imagine it anyother way. He is the one I confide in about everything. Maybe your mother feels you are too young. If you are meant to be with him, then your relationship will stand the test of time.

Best of luck

she is in denial. she doesn't believe that you could love somebody... how old are you? maybe she thinks you're too young to love. although love knows no age, she may not know that.

she isnt jealous.... thats completely retarded to think that.... if you guys seriously dont kiss or do anything more than that then you guys are like best friends... if you do more... then you are bf/gf just look at it that way
