What the f*ck?? If there is a God and the Bible is true, then why is it that God had to make all of his statements during the "Biblical Times"?? I mean, for instance, parting the seas, the 10 Commandments, turning water into wine, Noah's Ark, the Virgin Mary, Being resurrected, etc. Weren't the people who witnessed all of this technically cheating?? I mean, a story is told, some people witness this, and then what? We are to believe mortals that wrote stuff down in a book some thousands of years ago? Then this day and age comes around and all the proof we get about the "virgin" Mary is found in a dusty book?

Where's the fricking parting of the seas, or the dead coming alive, or the raining for 40 days and 40 nights for us??

What, did Allah/ God eventually get bored?

We have the love of Christ and the Holy Spirit with us everyday. That has to suffice. I think seeing a parting of the sea would be cool, but do you really want zombies and floods?

I've wondered that, too. Nothing dramatic like that happens now-a-days. Even if you look at ancient Greek stuff, they recorded massive earthquakes. The Egyptians made some pretty cool stuff. But that took a lot of human labor and no one could afford the land and the wages to do any of that again. Why we don't have as many catastrophic natural disasters is beyond me. I think a lot of stuff in the Old Testament was caused by human error and/or natural events. What they didn't have the science for, God must have done it. If the same people were left to describe the 2004 Tsunami or the New Orleans hurricane, I'm sure they would have made a fascinating story of 'God did it' b/c of man's sin, etc. The virgin Mary thing?-Other religions had the same story-It was in vogue and apparently, there were enough people to believe it to 'spread the word'. Actually, there still are, apparently :-)
