I'm not sure if Couture is ready for this fight. Sylvia is a big guy and it's tough to go up against that wingspan of Sylvia. If Couture has a chance, he'll need to keep Sylvia on his back the whole match. Couture is moving up a weight class, is in his 40's, and is fighting the champ in that division for his first heavyweight fight in quite some time. I give a big advantage to Sylvia, but I'm not a big fan of his.

Look out for Cro Crop in this weight class, his kicks are devastating.

If Tim Sylvia doesn't knock out Randy Couture, he will lose the belt. He won't submit Couture, and doesn't push the pace enough to win a decision against someone like the Natural. I do think that Sylvia will win by KO in the 2nd round. But if for some strange reason he doesn't get a KO in the first 3 rounds, Sylvia will lose.

I'll put my 2 cents on Randy.
Sure Sylvia is big.
Sure Sylvia can punch.
Sure Sylvia reminds everyone of a monster-sized Chuck Liddell.
But he's slower than Chuck.
And there's where Randy is going to make his move.
Randy can't go toe-to-toe with Sylvia, but if he gets inside and sweeps Tim to the mat, Randy will dominate. He's a much better grappler than Tim is.
Tim usually doesn't have to go more than a couple of rounds thanks to his punching power. But can his stamina hold up past those first few rounds with a pro-grappler on the attack?
Go Randy!

I say no. Sylvia is like a huge Chuck Liddel. Great take down defense with dynamite hands. Chuck knocked Randy out so I see no reason why Sylvia won't. Good luck Coture....I would love to see you back on top....
