I was in his class for a year but then I left the school and transferred to another one. I still can't stop thinking about him so I wanted to get in contact with him again. Is this wise? I don't know his feelings for me but I know he knows me and respected me as at least a student. Should I profess my feelings for him or will I only get rejected? He's not married by the way.

You must be quite young JenYa. And youth lets u have some fantasies, some mistakes. So go ahead, tell the professor dude how it is with you. You are miserable without him anyway. What if he rejects you, what's to lose? Besides, you have your whole life ahead of you to think hard and make wise choices. Allow yourself some pleasures while you can!
And believe me, settling your crushes and then getting on in life is the best way to go. Else, you ll probly be thinking abt 10 guys (or more from all your crushes) when u get in a serious relationship later on.

i am a professor and it is not wise positively . we professors have enough trouble coping with the crushes we have on pretty female students without them having crush on us too . the job of being a professor / teacher is very boring . there is nothing emancipating about it at all . and i am sure your crush would be too happy to respond to your advances . but all teachers are soooo boring that in 2 hours - 2 months you will fall out of love and he will suffer . do not like a teacher . period . i speak from being one .
