some people just lack the faith to believe. they believe that they are in ultimate control of their lives and have no need to believe in something they cannot see. I have never been to arizona but i have the faith to believe that it does in fact exist. I cant see God but i see evidence of his presense every day. Here's a thought; if everyone on earth lost their faith and stopped believing in God, what would He do? getting back to your question, I also believe that people tend to fear what they cannot understand and ithink fear leads to hate andhate leads to denial of Supreme Being.
as far as religions go, well, I dont think any of them have it right.
just a few more random thoughts on the matter: that voice in your head that tells you that you're about to screw up? some call it your conscience but I think that it is God whispering to you. I aslo suport the big bang theory.BUT i believe it was God who set the universe in motion. it has been reported that the earth is billions of years old. maybe it is. the bible says it took seven days to create the earth. Is it possible that man's concept and measurement of time differs from God's idea of time?. God may consider a million years to be an hour . Do ya see what i am gettin at.? anyway I hope i have given you something to think about. keep the faith we may get a few non believers back from the dark side yet.

I dont think people in general hate god...a lot more religious people nowadays are kinda forcing their beliefs on people. God is cool as long as someone isnt forcing him upon me. The same part of our bill of rights that gives people the right to practice religion is the exact same part that allows me to not!

Because not everyone goes by your religion, personally I am not religious (well to an extent) but I do believe there are other forces at work in the word. Some people are just different and If their "Hating" as you put it, well then thats just cause their stupid.

Im not hatin on God and never will. God is a father to me and so is Jesus and God and Jesus are family 2 me and i would like to meet them in person someday. and i would truly give them the respect and love and trust and confidence and worship they truly deserve.

Normally, I don't make fun of those with learning disabilities, but here goes.
God did not create us. And if he did, do you have any idea that there are other gods? I am am Pagan, why should yours demand I pay him homage when Hermes and Zeus make far better company?

I actually cannot stand when people call God crunk or 'my homeboy.' He is so much more than that, and He deserves much more respect than a 'homeboy.'
