Sounds as if you are stressing out!.There are some things you can do to prevent tooth loss.
Make sure you are brushing for at least 3 min. with a soft toothbrush.
Make sure you floss at least 2 times per day.
If you experience any type of loose tooth, try brushing with baking soda. I don't know why this seems to help, but it does!
Try a fluoride rinse!
Increase your calcium intake along with vitamin D.
Have your teeth cleaned every 6 months!
Now, about your anxiety....see a doctor who can help you know if you need to be on meds for this. The good news is you do not have to live this way! Oh, I am almost 50 and never have lost a tooth! Don't worry about it just take care of what you have and it will pay off! God bless you ! I hope you will feel better!

I can relate to a lot of what you are saying. Not about the problem with the teeth, but about the anxiety. Yes, it seems to me that you have anxiety. I have anxiety too, & have had it all my life. It can get very bad at times, especially when things are stressful, & tends to take over your life. Talk to your doctor about it, & make sure that you are honest about how you feel. He/She may be able to help you find a good therapist & prescribe something to help relieve some of the anxiety to help you sleep at night. Medication can definately help for very serious cases, but remember that therapy is very important & sometimes that is the only thing you need. Once you figure out what the problem is & what your triggers are you will be able to handle it better. Alot of people have this problem, & it's nothing to be ashamed of. I wish you lots of luck.

As a mental health practitioner with 20+ years experience, now retired, I read a LOT of Obsessive-Compulsive Personality stuff in your question, and that can cause a lot of anxiety and depression, etc.. Whether you have enough Obsessive-Compulsive stuff in you to qualify as an OC Personality Disorder or just a Trait cannot be determined by a question on Answers. My recommendation is to take care of your teeth (flossing and brushing) and go see a therapist when you can. You seem to need more talking with than anything else. God Bless you.

The obsession you describe has now moved beyond stress and may have graduated to anxiety. You have described that it effects many areas of your life; socially, academically, and physically, not to mention the impact on you psychologically and has diminished your confidence and self esteem. Please speak with you parents immediately or another adult that you trust. Then proceed to your local mental health agency for a referral to a psychiatrist for a full evaluation of your symptoms, please do not continue to let yourself suffer like this, college as you mentioned is supposed to be the best time of your life and it's going to be awful if you continue to worry they way you do....Please get help for yourself
BTW teeth do shift it's perfectly normal especially if your dentist did not find evidence of gingivitis.
Be well!!!

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.
Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

You can have both stress and anxiety because I do. I take Buspar to help control my anxiety. It is doing a good job for me. Second, if you drink a lot of soda, which contains carbonation and sugar, stop now and increase your calcium intake. I have drunk a lot of milk for years and my teeth have been very healthy due to the calcium I am getting from milk.

You might have some sort of OCD. I have recurring bouts of freaking out. They have gotten better as I have aged and started (slowly) to take better care of myself -- better diet, exercise, less alcohol, quit smoking, take vitamins (no IRON for guys or you'll NEVER sleep). I would change the way you treat yourself physically before you go off and get anti-anxiety drugs that may permanently mess with your mind.

This is very much I feel a anxiety problem. My Advice is give your anxiety and worries to Jesus! Know God loves you! He wants you to learn to trust him when things in life get you down! Look to God and Jesus to Supply your needs and Give Thanks to them when they answer your needs. The Bible says: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7) Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7) Do you know that God loves you so much that he gave his one and only Son Jesus to the cross, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life! (John 3:16) Know that every time you feel any situation is to much for you, it is never to much for Jesus. I would encourage you to start a relationship with him by reading the word of God (the Bible) beginning with the Gospel of John. So, no matter what voices in your head bring you fear and anxiety, you will how do handle it with faith and thanksgiving! I pray that you pray to Jesus, and ask him to revile truth to why you feel this way in your life so you can break free from your anxiety. God Bless!

Sounds like you have ocd, which causes your anxiety attacks. see a therapist or discuss your symptoms with your doctor, so they can properly diagnose it and provide you with some options to cope with the stress.
