I am a born again Christian. I have been since I returned from a little trip into the dark. I was in a coma for 5 weeks and there were some things that happened during that time which is very hard to explain. Anyway, I am a Baptist and I chose this because I believe they teach and preach from the Bible with nothing assumed from the Bible by man that isn't logical or unreasonable.

While I work with Baptist churches, when I am on holiday I deliberately attend churches of other denominations. Pentecostal, Brethren, etc. I have worked with Evangelical Free Churches as well. What is important to me is serving the Lord, not a denomination.

I'm Reformed attending a Baptist church. Initially it didn't make much of a difference, the pastor kept it all "seeker-sensitive" -- which means watered-down to some -- I like it that way, it allows for variety. But with the specific beliefs held there, I've grown to appreciate Calvinism, and find that it answers questions that can't be adequately addressed if one believes in free will. The pastor and I disagree, so what. We come from different angles but we sing the same praises and focus on our relationship with God. It's something I can live with, if he & the congregation can live with me.

I go to a non denominational church, came from Assembly of God and Church of God, which are both full gospel churches.

I like my church because they teach the truth, sing the traditional songs and hymns, and you can feel the power of the Holy Spirit in the services on most days.

non-denom... best for me and my kids. I don't know how many other churches work... but when the little Baptist boy down the street tells my children we will go to hell because we are not baptist.... i don't want to go there. When my friend tells me she is going to heaven just because she is Catholic... i wont go there... I guess I find my church to be 'ruleless' except for the Bible and we accept everyone and understand that we are all on our own level of Christianity. The pastor is no better than me just because he knows more. We are one, and stick together. We are no better than the guy that goes to the other church down the street, and we don't claim to be going to heaven just because of who we are.

Imagine a friend coming up to you asking how she is going to teach her daughter that she is a sinner (4 years old). Why not teach her that God loves her no matter what?

My church isn't attached to a denomination. It is a child of the parent church in California that began with the Jesus Movement and it's closely related to Calvary Church, but we do not give ourselves a denomination.
There's the link to my church if you want to see.

I attend Pinecrest Baptist Church. My parents actually chose it, and I have kept going. I enjoy it because they have many social activities after church that keeps the focus off of yourself (if that makes any sense).

Religion creats chaos. Spirituality creates harmony.
God is everywhere, why does anyone need a church? (rehtorical question, all those radicals, please don't get all hyped up and send me mail about it....get an mri instead and have the neurologist show you why you are the way you are....)
