You probably have pin worms. The doctor can do a simple test to make sure. It is easy to get rid of but you MUST remember to always wash your hands every time you go to the bathroom or touch your bottom area. Also if you are a nail biter...STOP NOW!
What happens is that you itch and then pick up the newly laid eggs on your hands and under your nails...then put your fingers in or near your mouth and the eggs are swallowed where they hatch inside your body...new worms to lay more eggs. It's an ongoing routine if you don't break it...

You have pin worm in your guts and always travel up to anus than make it itchy, in fact it's movement makes anus itchy. You must take Albendazole with some purgative repeat it after 20 days. You will definitely get rid of your problem.

take a shower with soap or wash your butt after you use the bathroom with water each time you whether it is #one or #two
not to be harsh my in my opinion that is nasty having a itchy butt in that area means you do not know how to clean yourself

Wash with soap and water. Sometimes, even if you washed well after doing #2, there's some discharge that comes with passing gas. >_<

If you dont think its a hygiene problem, take your annual dose of combantrine, it might be infestation.

after cleansing the area put a little vasoline on it. do this for a few days. if you continue to have this problem you could possibly have worms and would need a appointment with your doctor.
