I understand your position very well. I know how difficult it is for a person in your situation to make a decision. Before deciding on the ministry option, you have to really be sure that this is a call from God. How sure are you that this is the type of work God wants you to do? A full time ministry is not the only way to serve God. We can serve Him through the normal work that we do by being a model Christian. What are your other interests? Skills? Work experiences that you can develop by taking some kind of training so that you will be better paid and highly skilled in that field? If none of these interests you, and you feel a ministry is the way to go ask someone to help you make this decision. We call this a search-in. Some kind of retreat you attend to help you decide. I hope this helps you.
Grace and peace to you!

Ask Him to help guide you. I have been in similar shoes for almost the past 2 years. Confused on what path I should take, where I should be, what I should be doing. But slowly but surely, He is showing me signs, signs that make me think twice and say " ahhh, now I see ".
Plus who said you have to have a degree or license? Do you need such things to start your own food pantry for the homeless? Nope. Would you need that to visit local elderly homes and retirement homes just to talk with them? Nope. You can go be part of a youth group, have a Church help teach you for other positions. Can get online and do online schools, can go to a Bible College, can even do free schooling for the Bible online.
Tell your Church you are looking for employment, see if someone in the congregation can't help out.

Discovering God's Will for your life is probably the most important and most difficult task you will ever face. Know that God plants desires into your heart, so do not be afraid to follow them It is also important to listen to the advice of strong Christians with good discernment. Pray, look at your talents and proclivities, and try to figure out where they best fit.
You might also want to check out Tickle.com. They have lots of tests you can take to figure out your best life's direction. Good luck!

First of all the men God used in the Bible were not learned men, they were anointed men, all God needs is a willing heart. If He has called you He will bring it to pass. Look at David he was anointed king and they chased all over the place by Saul, running for his life and hiding in caves yet God brought him through and brought His (God's) will to pass in David's life and He will do the same for you.
I would look for some books by F B Meyer, especially the one he wrote on David's life, I believe they will help you very very much.
God loves you and He will bring it to pass.

You have to know that its not all on your shoulders. If you dont feel that you're getting an answer, pray harder. TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL. Let Him know that you're struggling and that you need Him to guide you and to show you what you are meant to do in life. TRUST ME, He's never going to leave you, just keep praying, He'll always be there for you. God Bless you and good luck!

Read Romans 12:1 and 2. If you do what it says, you will know what is the will of God, what is perfect, good, and acceptable to Him (I am summarizing and translating form memory: I know the text in French).

God will use you when the right time is. you don't have to worry, all you should do is tell God that anytime He is ready for you, you are always available. And remember: God knows exactly the right time to use you.
