I'm at university and this freak was on the roof threatening to jump off and I screamed up at him to do us all a favour and jump AND HE DID. OH GOD, EVERYONE SAW HIM FALL 20 STORIES AND HE SMASHED INTO THE FOUNTAIN. I HIGHTAILED IT OUT OF THERE AND NOW I'M AT HOME. THIS ISN'T MY FAULT RIGHT? RIGHT?

First of all --- NO --- it is not your fault.

Secondly, people in that situation are so far removed from reality --- so deep inside themselves at the moment --- he would not even have heard you shout.

Trust me and stop beating yourself up --- he was deaf to the world long before you came along.

I just read your other questions, you need help. A good start would be go jump off humanities doghouse roof.

I really hope you're not BSing us to see what kind of reaction you get.

Regardless, no, its not your fault. He was at war with soceity and "totally showed you he'd really do it" by jumping off. I've been on a roof or two myself. You did contribute, but I would not go through life blaming myself for it, because you didn't put him up there.

Please learn a lesson in humanity from this event, volunteer at a church or homeless shelter or something, and do something to help humanity. If you're traumatized by this event, doing that will be the quickest way to get over it.

FULL SNAP! You shoul've tried to catch him! You would've been a hero! Its not your fault, however you could've dont something about it. 20 stories is near fatal if he landed in the wrong position. i've jumped off a 9 story building and as soon as my feet touched the ground, i rolled to spread the impact. however he smashed into the fountain may be the deciding factor of whether he lived or died. the fountain could've cushioned his fall, or could've inflicted more damage. HOWEVER, ITS NOT YOUR FAULT.

Hmmm....you do no longer say why you broke up or who did the breaking (in case you initiated or he did). that could help in thinking what his reason could be. ... no longer understanding any info, i will say this: proceed with warning. this is that he in simple terms can no longer handle having been dumped, so he's on a venture to "teach" that he (a million) can get you returned and (2) may be the only that does the dumping. I say this because of the fact some human beings in simple terms can no longer handle having been dumped and could pass to any lengths to coach that they could get the guy who dumped them returned and "administration" the placement. That mentioned, whether his reason is that he needs you returned for real, evaluate why you broke up in the 1st place. surely, there became right into a reason and there's a reason which you're hesitant to get returned with him. crawl and carefully with this.

Of course not. Like you said, he's a freak. He most likely had a ton of bad days before this one and it all just came to a head. Other people's choices are not our responsibility. How could you possiblity have known he's "actually" do it? I'm sure it was a dramatic thing to witness, but don't beat yourself over it. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!

I seriously can't tell you that because I wasn't there but it sounds harsh, I don't really think that it was your fault because he wouldn't have jumped unless it was something that he wanted to do, most people don't do something that stupid because of a dare. Don't feel guilty, he wouldn't have even been up there unless it was something that he thought was absolutely necessary.

No, it is not all your fault. You should NEVER had said anything to him though other than trying to calm him down. Obviously he was going to jump anyway, but you might have added to it.

wow, yet you deserve some time in hell. Even if it's a joke.

Really, you need to live a life of poverty. Donate all of your excess money. Fast from sex, money, food, drink, etc. Show God that you care.
