Our body isn't important any longer,it served it's purpose.It will slowly begin to decompose until only our bones are exposed.Our souls however,will go to a better place (if you were a good person)But if the person before dying,gives his permission to cremate the body,then that's another story.

Your body starts to decay and decompose after a period of time. That's why you see skeletons afterwards. (and decayed bodies smell veryvery bad. trust me.)
