There are a thousand rationalizations for this question. But only one makes sense. God doesn't exist.
One of the greatest explanations that I've heard recently from two independent sources is that if God intervened every time someone did something evil, the world would be a chaotic and disorderly place.
I don't know. It seems like killing 6,000,000 men, woman, and children would be just a little chaotic all by itself, and maybe stopping it would add some order and stability to things.

Well, he let US(A) do it and the Allies. I have read many accounts that I believe God had a hand in.
But, you wish to blame God to find fault with him. Sorry, you are not that great and have no grasp of the bigger picture. I am not trying to be rude and it is hard to put emotion and subtilties in a letter.
God has allowed his people into slavery several times and he has always delivered them as well. If they choose to ignore him and his will they suffer from their poor choice. When they call on him and repent he hears them and delivers them.
You made an interesting point. God spared Abraham the agony of killing his own son, but did not spare his own son when the time came for the final sacrifice. Or you could look at it this way. When it was our turn we did not let the intended sacrifice go free we plunged the "knife" in.
So, while it is hard to grasp God's ways, it does not mean God is not in control or perfect or any other slight you would like to level against him. What it means is that until he sets things right one last time he will pick and choose as he sees fit when to intervene.
You may also remember that he promised there would always be a remnant of Israel and they are still here and no one will ever kill them off. Sorry to say that goes for the Muslims too.

Abraham and the offering of Isaac was a picture of the Father offering His Son Jesus for us. But God stopped Abraham before the sacrifice was complete because in this case it was not the sacrifice of Isaac that God wanted but only Abraham's complete and unreserved obedience. The Holocaust was completely different. But when good people do nothing and allow atrocities to take over, God cannot force "obedience" they have to want to obey. The Holocaust happened because good people were silent and did nothing. And there is a spiritual application as well, when the Jewish leaders cried for the Crucifixion of Jesus, they said "let His blood be upon us and upon our children." Well ---- it was.

When he stopped Abraham from killing his son (whether you believe it was Isaac or Ishamel) that was much different. Abraham was proving his loayalty to God and once God saw this, he told him to stop. Abraham went on to be a very important man for Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Then again, look at all of the people who were saved and how much the human race had learned from the mistake of killing the others.

--Did the religions and their leaders have knowledge of the death camps--YES!
--Did every religion as an organization,-- but 1, --give support to Hitler or not speak up against the Nazis?---YES!
--Did the nations have the knowledge of what was going on in those death camps?
----Absolutely, information was published & spread as early as the late 1920's !
--Did the so called hero nations have the power to intervene before Hitler started the exterminating---Absolutely?
--So why should we have had God do anything about it if we could have definitly done something about the entire scenario with millions that could have been saved!
--The Abraham situation was entirely different in that God directly was involved with Abrahams family in prophecy!

God is perfect. There is no 'if". It is hard for people to understand that God has a plan and you have to be willing to accept that. Jewish or Christian. It is God. Of course some Jews will get upset with this statement and I can not apologize for that. God still stopped the Holocaust with the ending of WWII. Is that how you would of stopped it? You can not even answer that because you do not have that power. Why does God allow things to happen. Think about it. Because if you do. Then you will learn one of God's greatest lessons to us. To think about others and not ourselves.
Praise be to God who is known as "I AM THAT I AM: and he said, "Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, "I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14

All living things including human beings are destined to die of either way, whether young or old and that is the consequences of being alive. You should not throw the blame to God about all these things to happen. Be thankful to God that you are still living but on the act of blaming him for everything. we have our own destiny in life.

Um, I don't know. Could it be because an atrocity against the Jews of this magnitude would be the only reason that could justify their being rewarded with the creation of a modern Jewish state in Palestine during an incredibly anti-Semitic era in human history?
"YHWH jireh" is the Hebrew name for God meaning "God provides." It's sad to me to think of God's choosing an atrosity of this magnitude to make a miracle happen, but He is always just.

This goes back to free will. God gave us all free will just like He gave Adam and Eve. But they chose to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. And that is where it started. The just had one law to obey and they couldn't do it.

The Jews believe in God, but not in his son Jesus Christ. Since they have denied knowing Jesus, then God has chosen not to know them. Also, just because God doesn't deal with something now, doesn't mean it won't be dealt with. He may wait and deliver his justice in the afterlife.
