In the name of Allah the Most gracious the most Merciful.
As a muslim I wouuld say that Christians would not or cannot
afford to Criticise Hindu customs because they are sailing in the
Same Boat. The truth of the Matter is that both Hindus and
christians Have very Little Knowledge Of their scriptures.Hindus
Follow the customs and cultures Practised by their fore Fathers
and the Christians swallow any thing told to them by the Church
and by their Priests as the truth without going back to their
scriptures. The difference between the Hindus and the Christians
is that a Hindu ,Though his scriptures Like The vedas, The
upinishads, and the Bhagwat Gita tell him Clearly That there is
only one God He openly worshippes Many Gods in Different shapes and Sizes and does not deny Doing so, But the christians areUnfortunately a Pretensious Lot,, you will find this in many of theAnswers you recieve 1] they will say that we worship only oneGod,2] they will say that we never worship mother Mary 3] they will say that jesus is the son of God so we worship Him.4]They will say that we do not worship Idols 5] they will say That mary is only the Mother Of Jesus, and they will say wituout Batting an eye lid that all this is present in the Bible. But infact their beliefs and practices are completely Opposite .
Worship; God almighty says in the Bible, Isaiah-43;11''I ,even I am the lord , and besides me there is No saviour''Isaiah-46;9
'' I am God and there is None else, I am God and there is none like Me''.
Mooses and Jesus { peace be on them ] Both Proclaimed in the
Bible, Mark- 12;24 and Deuternomy-6;4,'' Hear O Israel The lord
our God is One Lord ''But the Chtistians Insist NO, NO our
lord our God is Three Gods in One God.Jesus[ Peace be on him]
never Preached the Trinity. Some close concept is mentioned
in the book of John, but the cathiolic church and top christian
scholars Know that Most of the Book of John is Fabricated
because these concepts are not Present in the books of luke
Mathew and Mark;
Jesus[ peace be on him] The christians take jesus to Be the
Begotten son of God and worship him as a God.even Though
Jesus [ peace be on Him ]never claimed to be the Son of God
Neither is there any statement in the bible where Jesus [ peace
be on him ] said that i am God or where He said worship Me.In
Fact the Bible Says- Acts;2;22 ;; ye men of Israel, here these
words, jesus of Nazareth, A MAN APPROVED OF GOD, amoung you by Miracles and wonders and Signs, Which GOD
DID BY HIM.
Mother Mary; christians will deny that they worship Mother Mary
Yet they Pray to her every day In the Roasery. They have Novenas on a regular basis where they Pray to her and ask her for Favours ,And to Top it all they consider Her the Mother Of
God, One asks which God? and they will say No this is not how
It is, yet they say every Day without Thinking "' Holy mary Mother
Of God.......?
After the Hindus The christians are the biggest Idol worshippers
Their churches and Homes are full of Croses, Pictures, Idols and statues of Gods saints, jesus, mary, joseph [ peace be on
them ] and many others even though the Bible condems Idol
worship but the christians refuses to acknowledge this because
of Ignorance , they claim they Follow the Bible then what is said
in Exodus- 20, 3-5 and Deuteronomy 5, 7-9'' thou shall have no
other gods besades Me, '' Thou shall not make unto Thee any
Graven images , or any Likeness of anything, that is in heaven above or that is in the earth below or that is in the water or under
the earth, thou shall not bow down thyself, nor serve them, for
the lord thy God is a jealous God.I hope the christians begins to
look for truthful answers before it is too late.

To revere/worship is one thing and doing things in name of religion is another thing for one's convenience.

Christians do worship Jesus and honour Mother Mary, so do the Hindus worship your deities/religious symbols.

Its just irrational to criticise the customs followed by the religious which do not clash with others.

One should ensure not to make show of any activities in the name of religion which could lead to disastrous results.

I have never met anyone that criticizes Hindu customs.

Spirituality is very personal. And no one has the right to deride another's beliefs.

PS - Christians only worship God. Some pray to Mary, saints or other symbols (not all by a long shot) but they do not worship them. Christianity is a monotheistic religion.

Hmm...I'm Catholic. First, we only believe in one god. Second, how do Christians criticise Hindu custom? I have never said anything bad about it. Lastly, Catholics believe Mary was the virgin mother of Jesus and we day the Hail Mary, but we do not worship her. Saints and other people you might hear us pray too are more like messengers that help us to pray to God for our cause.

I just dont get incarnation!!!

Why is incarnation??? Some say GOD incarnates as a human being to understand the problem of humanity.

Seems simple???

Why should GOD be a donkey to understand the problems of a DONKEY???

Why should I be a PC to debug the fault of a PC???

I just write the instruction manual, and if we follow the manual, we will have a good working PC!

Moreover, the theory of incarnation contradicts Hindu scriptures! How? If you read the Vedas (The highest Authority among Hindu scriptures), you dont find incarnation, instead you find these:

It comes in Saam Ved,
' Ikkum Iva ditti yam' Which means Almighty GOD is ONE without a second.

'Na kassiya kasij jani tana chandipa' which means, Almighty GOD is not born and HE begets not.

It comes in 'Chandogaya Upanishad' (another sacred book)
'Andhaatma pavishantu ya sambhuti vipaste'

Which means they are in darkness who worship materialistic things.

So infact, the Vedas are dead against incarnation, idol worship, associating partners with Almighty GOD etc.

The problem with most of the Hindus is that they have never red the Vedas.

And its like an explosion if you read it. Because the Vedas call for worshipping ONE GOD, the vedas shun Idol worship, allow eating cow, and even have prophecies of the coming of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him).

He is called as 'Kalki Avatar', 'Narashansa', in the vedas.

So if you see, Actual 'Vedantism' is Monotheism just like Islam and just like 'Actual Chrsitianity' which also calls for Belief in ONE GOD.

Because JESUS is the incaranation of God the father who created Heaven and Earth. It is only Jesus who won over the death and came alive the third day. It is a historical fact. Please see his teachings. No other Preacher has taught like JESUS.Look at the miracles that He performed. HE is the only LIGHT, WAY and TRUTH. You too can worship him.

Christians do not worship Mother Mary or any other deity. I is only a notion.
Christians do not criticise any relegion. They only try to spread the GoodNews of JESUS.

I don't know, it's awfully hypocritical. They also have a trinity, like Hinduism. They venerate Jesus, Mary, and (for Catholics) all those saints. Prayers are said to all of them (Hail Marys, for the Virgin Mary, for example). Clearly there's some worship of all of them going on even though they acknowledge only one God.

It's the same way with Hinduism. We acknowledge one God, but worship other deities as a way of reaching Him.

I don't know that Christians do any such thing but I would imagine it's because Christianity is for the most part an exclusive religion. Something about Jesus being the "only" way. So that would exclude any religion that doesn't believe that. And any such religion would be considered false.

Cause they think that they are great, without understanding how much more depth the Hindu, or any other religion has. I totally agree with you, I've seen Christians who think they are on 'the path of God' and think everyone else is deluded. Its silly.
