here, have some of mine! lol. no for real, don't stop working out cuz then u'll suck at basketball. eat a lot of protein, and lift weights. you'll gain weight quicker that way because muscle weighs more than fat, and it will help u in basketball to have muscle. don't eat greasy sugary foods, u'll just get sick alot and be a fat *** and u won't be able to run 10 feet without being winded. so yeah, protein and weighlifting....and starches, though only good ones, whole wheat and stuff

It depends whether your trying to gain 10 lb of muscle or fat. If you're trying to gain muscle, then I would recommend weightlifting and lean protein (chicken, turkey, etc.). Also make sure you alternate the muscles you work out. Do a set of muscle groups on one day and a different set on another day. Muscles grow through tearing and healing processes, and for that to occur you need rest.
If you are trying to gain 10lb of fat. Then you must simply consume more calories than you burn. Eat what you like to eat. Just make sure your at least 500 calories over what you're burning each day. Give it some time and the weight should creep up. Quit smoking, that also tends to slow metabolism.

You should defidently work out still. I don't know what's it like to try to gain weight since I have so much darn trouble trying to loose it, (lol). I guess it must be just as hard to try to gain weight healthily as healthily loosing it. Meat is a good idea but make it lean meat and work out with weight because muscle is heavier than fat. I guess you're not trying to loose weight in the process of gaining muscle though which is tricky. I wish I could help more.

Try drinking weight gain shakes. You should continue to work out or you will just get out of shape and then lose the weight again when you start exercising again. Drink the shakes and do more weight training to build muscle.

one of the best way of gaining way is eat a heavy meal when your are ready to go to bed this way the meal is digest but the fat is not burned out. it words alot trust me i know people who do that and thay gain weight. also eat rice it's very heavy

You need to get on a weight training program. Just adding weight won't help. You need weight in the form of muscle.

no don't stop working out, cuz if you do you'll lose your figure for the game,but like lighten up on it instead of working out everyday, go three times a week...
and about what you eat just increase your carbs eat a lot pasta, rice, potato, bread...

calorie intake has to be higher than output... therefore eat breakfast then snack then lunch then snack then dinner and dessert...do this religiously and you will gain ten pounds in 2 1/2 weeks
