These words are from Daniel 5:25-28.
The translation- MENE-- God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it. TEKEL-- You have been weighed on the scales and found deficient. PERES-- Your kindom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.
The prophet Daniel told these things to Belshazzar King of Babylon after the king saw a hand writing on the wall of his banquet room.

This was the "writing on the wall" that the prophet Daniel interpreted for King Nebuchadnezzar. The prophesy came true. See the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament.

Mene - means numbered. Wait, its from the Bible, right? sorry i don't have my Bible with me right now.... Check your Bible - it sure has translations. And oh, i think tekel means measured.... or whatever. the third word is upharsin, not upharson. sorry, i dont know what that word means. i forgot.
