I quit drinking soda and cut down all the juice. (I used to drink A LOT of soda and then i stopped and drank A LOT of juice which has lots of sugar etc) I mainly drink diet lipton green tea (0 cal) and water now. I also watch what I eat. And i walk my dog everyday after school. But do you think that drinking the diet green tea and water is an effective way of trimming down? Or will it not do anything for me?

Go ahead and drink some juice. It has vitamins and minerals. Try watching your salt intake. Salt helps retain water. Water is very heavy at 62.4 pounds per cubic foot. Maybe you are more familiar with 1 gram per cubic centimeter. Either way, watch salt in the diet. Don't cut it out, but keep it to around 2400 - 4000 grams per day. Really, 4000 is a lot. Talk with a doctor or dietitian.

I dont think its enought, you need to add some exercise plan too to your routine, and or if you do brisk walk that would do too.
You have to work a little more harder to lose weight by as i said earlier do brisk walk and add an excercise plan which you can do 3 days a week along with cutting on chocolates, deep fry foods etc , then slowly and gradullay but in a healthy way you definately going to lose some pounds.

diet stuff like diet coke, diet lipton don't work because they still have lots of sugar in them. If you drink real tea the kind you boil water and mix it then you can lose some weight.

try lemon diet, it worked for my friends.

Maybe if you weren't so lazy, do some research, and use some common sense then it would help already.

If you walk your dog for four or five miles each day, and you drink lots of water and only some tea, I bet you'll do just fine!

cutting down on soda intake will already help you lose weight. also i've noticed, less soda intake than the usual will give you smaller tummy :) water is my best bet and eating balanced meals regularly.

I don't know how that would do long-term....you might get bored. I just lost 75 lbs on Weight Watchers....it's one of the healthiest, most recommended diets around.
