When I was a kid, this recipe I think came off the Quaker Oats box. We cooked peanut butter, corn syrup or sugar on the stove and than after we took it off the fire, stirred in rolled oats and dropped it by teaspoons on wax paper and cooled in refrigerator. It was fast & easy

I tried it once and they came out good. I just stirred powdered sugar into peanut butter until the PB was no longer sticky, then I put in a bunch of oats. I packed it all together and let it sit.
