I have really thick hair and I want to get it thinned. Is this a good idea or will it grow in thicker or be frizzier? Let me know from personal experiences or i you ahve any websights?

Hi. i have really thick hair and its really frizzy. i have had it thinned out and layered and it was great it makes it so much lighter. but if your worried about what it will look like start off thinning it out little by little just ask your hairdresser to do this and if you think you need a bit more just tell them.

I have to get mine thinned, or else it's heavy and prone to knot and tangles. This helps, and I can acheive volume much easier. There hasn't really been a down side, other than it growing back out. I don't think it would cause you to have frizzier hair (unless you had it to start with) and it definitely won't grow in any thicker (common misconception).

Me too. Mine is very thick and wavy. I had it layered and it's much better. Frizzy? Well, mine has a tendency toward that direction so I use hair gel to take care of that.

well if you get it thinned .i mean its a little bit better because you take out weight from you head....it won't grow thicker or anything......

thining is fine, you will get more flyaway and your split ends will be higher but other than that its fine. just be sure to keep you hair healthy and a frizz free serum will be a godsend.
