Recent nutritional reports are absolutely condemning the high-fructose stuff and artery clogging and unhealthy, but very little is out there about good old Karo syrup.

Karo is a mixture of corn syrup (glucose), high fructose corn syrup and vanilla; while HFCS is mainly a fructose syrup.

Both are made from corn starch it's just that HFCS goes through more processing.

In terms of nutrional pros and cons, I would think too much sugar is still too much sugar no matter which form.
