I have a crush whenever I want to touch him I always end up hitting him or doing something that I consider juvenille. I keep poking him and pushing him and he gets annoyed. I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem?

Girl ALL GIRLS either hit the guy or say verbally assaulting things to the guy she likes. I've done it, you've done it, EVERY girl has done it. I guess it's just our way of flirting he he... I think we feel insecure in front of them so we wanna let them know that we are TOUGH!!

When someone is attracted to another, when we communicate we also do another gesture of touching. That can be from play fighting, poking, slapping them on the arm. We sometimes unconciously do this. You just cant help cause you like the person.
If he gets annoyed its cause maybe doesn't quite feel the same way. Or its the poking that could make him seriously ticklish and doesn't want to admit it.
If you are doing it in public, maybe he's a bit embarrassed and would rather it happen when its more private.
I cant help but slap people on the arm if I like them tons. Or give them a wee punch on the arm. Its a natural reaction and I have to force myself to stop and think about NOT doing in fear of going overboard!

You realize it's juvenile, so that's a start. If you feel the need to touch him, lean over and pull lint off his shirt or pretend he has something in his hair. This will get you much closer and watch the sparks fly.

Yep. This boy I like keeps on teasing me about how i supposedly like another boy, and I always end up turning red, smiling, and beating him with my book.
